I was venting my frustrations. I knew once they said no one in the bullpen and Bumgarner in the hole, that something bad was going to happen. I can't blame Bochy for this........ this thing they call 9 players who bat in an order. That is who I blame

Actually, I meant I can't fault him too much for that. I would have made the same call with Bum. But it's perfectly ok to advocate for a policy of pulling a starter after seven when he's near 100 pitches. With a great bullpen, that might work better. That's something you might want to keep track of around the league.

And....Bochy might have handled it differently had the Giants been ahead (or tied at home).
