Talk about a tale of two games for the Giants. They crush Lorenzen, a righty, in the 1st 4 innings and do nothing against Holten, a lefty, for the following 2 innings.

I'm surprised the scorer gave a hit to Haase. That seemed like a clear error on Crawford.

6.2 IP 6 hits 2 ER 0 BB 5 SO 9 groundouts

There has been an interesting shift (could be small sample) in DeSclafani's batted ball profile. Prior to today's game, he had a ground ball rate of 51.6% with a 1.1-degree average launch angle. His slider (-5 degree LA) and changeup (-31 degree LA) are part of the reason why. The slider is proving to be a tough pitch to hit yet again. Something to monitor.
