No. Would take what, 5 plus seasons minimum? He's a distant #2 this year behind Bell and maybe #3 behind Perine? It would take injuries and luck to get halfway there. I can't see how he can get 3,000 yards. I wonder if he is even on the team week 1. Would be a Hell of a story though if he could keep it going

I was just throwing it out there, kidding basically. I don’t think there is anyway he will, especially the way the RB position is used in today’s game. With no live sports on right now, I will occasionally watch an NFL game from the past on NFL Network. They had “ The Catch “ game on a few weeks ago. I couldn’t believe how many times on 3rd and 3 , teams ran the football. It really is a different game now.

RBs - Gore has had a great career. I use to think AP or LT had a shot at Emmitts record. The one that scared me the most was actually a lot like Gore- Curtis Martin, not necessarily the style but more the steadiness

Watching the 95/96 NFC Championship game vs the Pack. Awesome game. Emmitt Smith was so damn smooth. Aikman was just pin point. Larry Brown huge INT.

It has been so long. We have not been to championship since people started using cell phones lol

Wow that’s true. Doug Pederson was Favres back up. He looked like a little kid. Aikman hasn’t aged very much.

Definitely a different game back then. Moose was on the field just about every play. They would occasionally bring in Deon for a 3rd WR. They ran draws to Emmitt on 3rd and 9. It was awesome. No such thing as 5 wide , heck I don’t think I saw 4 wide out of either team. Packers had a good TE too - Keith Jackson. I think I saw Aikman throw two incompletions the last quarter and a half. He was throwing darts.

They showed it on Fox Sports 1 tonight. I’ve been a fan 40 plus years. That is definitely one of my all time favorite games. I saw it from the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter til the end. The Packers were really damn good. We had the ball for over 40 minutes I think. Favre threw a bad pick that really helped us in the 4rth.

Shante Carver has a big sack at the end. Ha.

I can’t remember what I thought last year going into the season and I know we got beat by the Jets but that was on the Road. With exception of the Dolphins, I would have probably picked the Skins or Bills as our next easiest win. Of course the Bills kicked our ass.

2 things I take from this (maybe a bit different from most ppl)
show us as a pick em' against the niners, which tells me odds makers are over the top on the Cowboys. Niners should be favored.

2nd. Am I the only one that looks at the Falcons like the Cowboys often have been.
Can beat the best of them & turn around & lose to the worst of them.
Falcons game honestly worries me. & there is no way I would give anyone 7 points in that game.
