Jerry Kill hired as offensive advisor.

Tim Beck, Jerry Kill's OC, hired as OC.

Diego Pavia, nmst stud QB, committed.

For Vanderbilt, this is huge stuff!

They'll be a fun/interesting team to watch this season. When has that ever been said?

Not with this schedule. I'm not sure there will be much room for fun in it:

3-9, incoming!!:whoo:

If things start to really change in college football (top programs separate from the NCAA), I just don't see how Vanderbilt makes the cut. They're 3-38 in conference games over the past 5 years, and 15-69 in conference games over the past 10 years. At this point, from a competitive level at football, they are just cashing conference checks.

If they do create a new tier/league in college football over the next 5 years (which I don't see any chance this doesn't happen), teams like Vanderbilt need to be left on the cutting floor. Just my opinion.

What do you expect from VaTech this season? It looks like their schedule should be favorable to them winning several games in the fall.

9-3 is the expectation. 7-5 floor. 10-2 ceiling.

Cautiously optimistic.

Yeah...it looks like you will only face one pre-season top 25 program (Clemson). Although Miami may sneak in there sometime during the season.
