Solid starting RB, top 15 in the NFL. He runs with power obviously, but he's also proven to be a solid safety valve for Ben out of the backfield with 55 catches on 71 targets. They have decent RB depth so he doesn't have to be a 100% bellcow. He's a rich man's Jordan Howard.

That's one of the dumber ways to judge how good a line is. Pittsburgh also had the 2nd fewest rush attempts in the NFL last year.

I'm sure in your infinite wisdom that being 31st in the NFL in rushing yards is easily be explained by pointing out their 2nd fewest attempts.

2nd fewest attempts can also be easily explained by not rushing because the O-line can't run block.

Twist that around.....

That's seriously the dumbest shit I've ever heard. PFF had Pittsburgh's line rated #1 in the NFL by the end of the year. You're trying to use speculation as if it's fact and it's idiotic.

except they were avg. 4.2 yds a carry. The Pats had over 2k in yards at 4.3 yds a carry.

With all the mouths to feed in receiverville last year in Pit. Doesnt surprise me how often they passed vs. ran.

I think there are a lot of guys just as talented as him in the league but he was lucky enough to have the right situation fall into his lap. That being said, he can handle what is asked of him and you can't take that away from him.

31st dude. Obviously I'm not buying into PFF on this. If they rated the "#1 best O-line" from middle of the pack rushing offense, I 'd still disagree.Perhaps you don't understand the difference between run blocking, pass blocking, and the #1 overall O-line?
