From what I'm reading, Kyrie has already put his change of address in for Atlantic Avenue.

Kemba probably makes the most sense for the Lakers. I still don't think the Sixers are going to let Butler leave Broad Street.

Sixers don't really have much to say about it. I'm not sure what the Lakers plan is though? Do they have a top target, or list, or do they go smaller pieces?

it makes sense.

-the expanded playoffs- every round going 7 games

-fact that up until last year he never really had a significant injury besides when he took that 2-3 weeks off his first year back in Cleveland.

-what you are reading probably doesnt even count his international minutes- where he has probably played as much if not more than anyone as well.

-the fact he had zero college years

as i said- LeBron is a freak so his rules are a little different- but the wear and tear is adding up. Lakers need shooters and wing defenders.

He did still average 27/8/8, pretty much his career averages. I would like to see him slim down though. No need for extra mass as you age, only hurts those joints that much more.

Apparently AD will reportedly unlikely to waive trade kicker so then if that happens Lakers cant sign another max FA. If that happens..wow

He has nothing to do with it, he's under contract. I would assume he will waive his trade kicker to help the club, but maybe not.

What is it about July 30th that changes anything about the trade? Has anyone detailed that yet?

Has to with the salary cap. For some reason, if they wait until July 30th to make it official, it gives them more cap space.

Still just a rumor if that would get in the way of signing another max guy...he cant be that big of a douchebag

To think the Lakers would trade the entire young core and picks save Kuzma and they may trade him?

That would be fucking ridiculous

Not really a big deal, imo.

If I understand things correctly, the only way the Lakers would have enough for a max would be if the trade wasn't official until July 30th. That would mean the Pels couldn't officially sign the #4 pick until then as well. I doubt they want to wait that long. So unless they trade the pick, the Lakers will have, at best, $28 million if they can convince him to decline the trade bonus.

I don't think the Lakers necessarily need a 3rd star.....it'd be nice but not a necessity.....

Sign some good role players (we def need shooting) and Kuzma could turn into a #3 option with AD and James.....both those guys will make players around them better.
