Like any player, you have your doctors look at him and you make a determination but there are no guarantees.

Cobb missed a lot of time and you were fine with him :noidea:
Berry played only one game in 2017 and only three games in 2018 so there is a big difference.

Still confused by picking up the Hurns option. Seems unnecessary now with Cobb, expensive for a number 4 receiver. Especially with other holes left to fill.

You could get a young wide out to fill that spot for next to nothing. Whereas safety for example, I'd much prefer a vet back there. Just confusing allocation of resources.
I dont get it either. I think hurns will be cut when they set the final roster after training camp unless there are injuries. Not saying hurns is terrible or anything. If Cobb stays healthy he is going to start as he is just plain and simple better than hurns. Cobb when healthy is a stud

After looking closer, it looks like it cost us nothing to pick up the Hurns contract and subsequently cut him before the season. We don't pay his $4M salary and we don't pay any of his per game roster bonus unless he is on the team when the season starts. So selfishly it was a good move. The only negative would be that it is kind of dicky to do to Hurns as it would make it less likely that he is paid full value with his next team if released that late in the year.

wont he still be rehabbing up to the season?
I looked at it like the as long as he is a cowboy he can rehab with the trainers & with the Cowboys & is covered. I looked at it as a good/nice thing to pick up his contract.

I would like to see that Daniel Ross get more snaps. I was bored last night and watched highlights of the Tampa game and liked what he did in that game. Yeah, he got penalized a few times, but he really was causing issues for Tampa.

don't understand why Dallas appears to have zero interest in Boston
I dont get why they have not signed a safety. If we dont then every NFL team is going to know what we are targeting early.

What do you guys think about the Browns trying to hype themselves as the new Americas team?

Not Berry but an upgrade for sure
Yeah, I'm very happy with the signing. I am optimistic about what I read about him just not fitting in with what Minnesota does scheme wise with their safeties and how deep they were and think if we play him in the box he will work out well for us. I love the potential of Woods back there and I think having a true SS next to him will help. Plus the two of them together will provide some thump back there and help against the run. But, we still need to draft a safety IMO. I do think this move makes us a better team.

Last thought...if this team even considers the fact that they may still want to start Heath I'm going to vomit.

Don't care. Dallas will always be Americas team because they have so many fans and because everyone else hates them and because they continue to blow out ratings every time they are on tv, but the tag changed with the internet. There were Dallas fans all over the Country because they were on tv a lot and had a lot of national media coverage so fans all over the Country were built and could follow them. Now with the internet every team's fanbase can follow them from all over the Country. I like the Browns and will be rooting for them, but they are still the Browns.
