Heard on 105.3 the fan. That Garrett has put the handcuffs on Moore and not letting him change the offense much at all. This was according to some Cowboys insiders.
Somehow this does not surprise me. Dez complained and many other former players. Even amari and dak changed his route and it ended up being a 75 yard touchdown against the eagles

If Miami isn't looking to pay a big part of Quinn's salary I would have pursued this instead. Better player and save the pick.

Cowboys may need to bite the bullet and make the quinn trade happen. They should have learned a lesson from the WR issue from last season. We are not fine at DE with Gregory suspended and Crawford soon to be suspended

the hold up is compensation. I'm sure Dallas prefers a 4th or 5th round selection while Miami seeks a 3rd round draft pick in 2020.

Dallas would redo his contract to three years with a large signing bonus to be spread over three years, thus reducing the 11M cap hit this season to around 6 or 7M. I'd expect most of the guaranteed money to be in the large signing bonus

I wanted to sign him last year but he is little less attractive this year. I know Vikings were deep, but he didn't really play much, did he?

I think if you read the tea leaves it's only a matter of time and we are trading for Quinn. If we add him and add a safety I'll be very happy with this offseason. If that safety is Berry I'll be ecstatic. :hope:

Berry has only played in 3 games the past two seasons so I have my doubts about him.

Yea...well...that's why he's available and not costing $14M per year :noidea:

I was reading a story a bit back. I got that same feeling the way the story was laying out. They made it sound more like he would just run Garrett's offense. Which will fuck Garrett.

Fixed

Am I the only one so set on needing to sign a safety in FA that I refuse to even look at the safeties that are in the draft???? :lalala:

This even though I'd still draft one even if we sign one...

I just hope the guy is healthy enough to play. I loved watching him play the position in 2015 when he came back from cancer. I got this because the money from the auction went to fund cancer research and I am a huge Eric Berry fan!

So you'd be okay with damaged goods.
Like any player, you have your doctors look at him and you make a determination but there are no guarantees.

Cobb missed a lot of time and you were fine with him :noidea:

Still confused by picking up the Hurns option. Seems unnecessary now with Cobb, expensive for a number 4 receiver. Especially with other holes left to fill.

You could get a young wide out to fill that spot for next to nothing. Whereas safety for example, I'd much prefer a vet back there. Just confusing allocation of resources.
