Why do we keep putting Neuvy out there is beyond me.
They must have no other good options which is why Haks is still back there
Yea I am not sure what our ramifications would be cap wise but at this point I think I'd really like to see Neuvy waived. When Elliot comes back he can be waived to. Call me dumb, I don't care. I feel like they are ruining our young dmen back there. On top of the other obstacles these kids have to play with.

Go with Stolarz and Lyon the rest of the year unless they trade for an expiring contract goalie or one with a contract through 2020.

We may wind up with him by default. :hope:
And you would be upset about having an elite forward for being a shotty team? Here is my thought. I don't think Hakstol is getting fired this season. I think Fletcher will ride with what we have and if he feels there is no improvement, he will make a couple of deals and get picks or prospects inreturn. I also think of we continue to struggle, which it appears to be going in that dirction, the Flyers will be in the lottery draft. My gut tells me we are way past due to hit the first pick.

I would like to see this also but it would be 5 million to waive both and i dont see us parting ways with that much. Maybe just waive Neuvy and go with Stolarz and Elliot.

That would be awesome ill take Hughes in a heartbeat. But if our core is as good as this board thinks, we shouldn't be anywhere near position to get him

Although I agree our goalies suck, you would have a hard time convincing me that Elliott is forcing Provorov to make those God awful stretch passes to opposing forwards, if he would man up and skate the puck out he'd have less problems. And for Ghost, well there's a reason they call him Ghost is because he disappears in the defensive corners a lot.

I agree it doesnt excuse what those 2 are doing. That being said when you are playing so tight because any small mistake ends up in the back of your net, I can understand why a 21 year old may not do well in that situation.

Is anyone else cringing at the prospect of picking up Johnson from the Blues? May be a good back up to Elliott?

I think Stolarz is capable of handling backup duties. Do you think he is that bad where he wouldn't be able to be a back up for us?

Stolarz reminds me a lot of Mason.

Are you talking about Stolarz or Johnson in back up roll. I think right now Johnson could be better than Stolarz but who knows.

I think Stoli can be our back up without giving anything up.
Stoli can easily be the backup but probably not too much more at this stage. The goalies need some support but so do the D. I'll be at the game tomorrow in Calgary will be a challenge as flames playing well.

Believe me I will try as this team needs to turn things around now on this road trip. It's not too late yet but it better start sooner than later.... I have faith!:suds:
