It's funny how the OSU fans are supportive and understand his mature decision, yet the trolls of the other fanbases are the ones up in arms.

:pop2:

Does Ohio State not have facilities to rehab an injury? Couldn't he have remained with the team without playing and done his rehab?

He has withdrawn from classes, so I don't believe the NCAA allows him to use their facilities and trainers.

CFB Live were talking about how there should be a minor league system (like in baseball) that would encourage players to stay in college.

I am thinking that you are offered millions, why not take it. You are not required a degree for NFL Any other profession where a degree isn't required, you would be called a fool for not taking the millions.

Now, I also don't look down on those that want to be that team leader and stay through senior year. Everyone knows you can take college while in the NFL, just can't play college football.

I also don't agree with the minor league system in football either. Football careers are far shorter than baseball careers.

Douche move. After his injury he wasn't even staying in Columbus. He was rehabbing in PA. If the guy wants to be done as a college student so be it, but he apparently is also done being a teammate
fucking puzzles that called this comment bullshit

The Raiders better target him in the draft.

Yes I get that the point is he could have remained in school taking classes and rehab his injuries at Ohio State. To me leaving shows a lack of leadership from a team captain.

To me, it shows a kid who knows the difference between focusing on school for no good reason and staying at Ohio State where he won't get 100% attention as compared to focusing full time on his conditioning and rehab knowing that the combine is only a few months away, because the difference between being the #1 pick and the #10 pick is about $20 mil. There are a lot of ignorant people who are blaming him for making the unquestioned best decision for his future.

I don’t know why people question these guys like they do. This will likely happen more and more now that it’s been proven that NFL scouts don’t care if you finish the season or not (Fournette and McCaffrey proved that). No need to risk a big injury.

Bosa will now get a solid 4 months of professionally training with a very small chance he suffers another injury.

It's also not as if he just decided to quit for no good reason. His surgery was never going to allow him to return this season anywhere near 100%, and the risk of re-injury was massive. Le'veon Bell had this surgery last March and didn't even begin rehab for almost two months, let alone getting back to full contact. He made the right move, and it's odd that it seems like it's mostly non-OSU fans that are ripping him.
