1. I actually don't mind Herbstreit. In before Michigan fans cried that Michigan is not on the list and blames it on him being a Buckeye.
They have a better chance of winning the B1G West than the B1G East.1. I actually don't mind Herbstreit.
2. I don't think Michigan realistically has a shot at a national title this year. If this were a discussion about the B10 title, I'd have a different opinion.

Except
Michigan has just as good a shot as this fucking LSU pick he did.
So does Oklahoma, Stanford, Oklahoma State, and about another dozen teams better than LSU.
Herbstreit puts out a weak list. Little thought.
Other than Oklahoma, that conference is dead.lol @ the big 12

at this point I think UM fans are less likely to critique Herbie than OSU fans are.Herbstreit is very good at putting his affiliation to OSU to the side when talking about CFB. UM isn't in the conversation because they will be starting anywhere from 10-15 freshman or sophomore this year.
They shouldn't be in the conversation, that is why they aren't.
Rarely are the pre-season top four teams truly the best 4 teams. I think with a top 8 you're more likely to capture the best 4 teams in the country....though I guess you could say the same thing about a top 25 ranking....but you get my point I think.Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson
Florida State
Adding 4 more will seem more like filler.

Alabama starts 10-15 freshman or sophomore every year.
The projected starting lineup for 2017 has 3 sophomores on offense and 3 sophomores on defense for Bama. Everyone else has been with the program 3 or more years.
Far cry from 10-15.
And while UM has had top 5 classes, they are nowhere near what Bama has brought in and the depth they have on the team
