I don't understand why no temporary avatar or ban terms are agreed upon that settle this after the draft.

Because that would require conviction in ones predictions.

he waits to draft night so he supposedly gets the most up to date intel , then tells everyone he is "all that" when people have put mocks out for months and he picks apart them without ever throwing his own shit out there

the dude is all about 20/20 hindsight

Good grief. Posters do nothing but complain about Dean, then threads like this appear which serve what purpose again?

Its not about that at all. I compare my picks to the teams picks. Not you guys. Like the Matt Jones vs David Johnson situation. I would have never traded down and would have picked DJ. What is the point in doing a mock way before the draft? its stupid. I gave you the players I like at 17. When our pick comes in any round I will provide you the player that I would have chosen. Then in the future we see if it works out or not. Only then you can hold me to my post.

I have no idea. I just give my opinions when we draft. This board just hates it when I turn out right. When someone like gk posts CM wont go first round then he is just beggin to made of example of.

It is meaningless, but kinda fun and something to do. Everybody hypes it up (for clicks), and just something to talk about in the off-season for the die-hards like all of us. But after the first 5-10 picks, you can pretty much ball up the big board sheets throw it in the trash can. Some players are going to be taken much higher than expected, some much lower.

But that's a pretty good idea Dean. Maybe we should all do a "post draft mock" based on who was available when we are on the clock in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. (before any of the players play a game). Then we can all look back in a couple of years and give each other shit over who was taken and who wasn't. I like it! Everybody needs to get on board.

Mocks are for entertainment purposes only. Getting them right is like predicting the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, impossible. So it's dumb to jump on a writer or poster for not pulling off the impossible.

I see your point. We should have an "on the clock game" where all posters on here should post there personal pick for the Skins while the SKins are on the clock. It will gives us a good sense of what all the posters on here are thinking at the time.

You claim now you never would have traded down.

You claim now that you wouldn't trade up for Moses.

I make a statement that CM wouldn't go in round 1 when most projections had him as a mid to late first. Now he is being projected at 8. When I made my prediction, you thought he would be mid teens to mid 20s. It is funny...you don't have enough hair on your ass to be original.

Every Skins fan had David Johnson over Matt jones on their RB rankings. Some fans didn't even know who MAtt Jones was. So yeah taking DJ was a no brainer pick.

It serves as a way for him to prove what he says. He likes to play MMQB and change his story.
So if he guess wrong, as everyone does, you throw back in his face. But when he turns his opinion may have been right you don't allow him the same opportunity to argue that he was right it would appear..

No...everybody is wrong on here occasionally. He is the only one that continually changes his opinions to appear correct. He also likes to claim he predicts this or that when he just parrots others. He also would rather be right than the Redskins be good.

I wont speak for the rest. But here goes.

Its not about the fact that he guessed wrong. Hell like you said we ALL have guessed wrong at times during the draft. But it is his insistence that the guy we DID take was a mistake and we would have been so much better with his pick, with little or no regard for how that would have affected the rest of the team.

Biggest case in point, Deans constant drum that Moses some how DESERVED to be the pick in the second round, and Murphy was a mistake. His (and other posters) dry bitching that we choose Scherff over Williams. Never mind that not taking Scherff changes alot of what we currently have on the O-line.

So yea its real easy to sit back and speculate we would have been better taking this guy or that guy, to me at least it shows a lack of something when one sits back and bitches that SEE.. I told you this guy would be a stud, but no we went in another direction. And it makes it worse when one seems to ENJOY pointing out if a Redskins selected player is not quite up to expectation if it wasnt the guy one wanted us to draft in the first place.
