Here comes the savior

Thankfully this isn't happening.

That said, I'm still fairly sure the Browns get a Jimmy G deal done. NE traded both their first- and second-round picks this year, and Billy B isn't the type who doesn't like his draft picks. I know they just won a Super Bowl, but this is not a young team.

Keeping that dream alive I see, nobody knows what to expect from the Browns receiving staff.

Coleman had flashes, but missed six games.
Gordon is dumb as a rock and only had one great season and that was five years ago.
Britt is a contract player, performs his best at contract time, no leader.
Coleman, like every player, is at the whim of injuries. Thankfully his was a very simple one (broken hand) to fully recover from. He looked very good when healthy, and that was with (fill in the blank) playing QB.
Gordon will likely never play another down. If he does, I also doubt it's with Cleveland. That was clearly sarcasm.
Britt seems to be bought all in with Cleveland, which is great to see. Also, how are you calling him a contract player? He had a great year this year, sure, but prior to this year his best 3 seasons came in non-contract years. He had one year of injury issues but has played at least 12 games every other season of his career, and he also had better numbers this year than Pryor despite playing with arguably a worse QB situation.

The team made no effort to keep Britt, because of his dedication, or lack there of.

Haha, if that dude had no dedication, what's the rest of the team's excuse? He was the only bright spot on the entire offense.

Fine with me. WRs love playing for Hue Jackson. I guess at least you have... Tavon Austin?

Haha, he's never gonna play for the Browns again. That was definitely a joke. One of those guys that leave you scratching your head.

You're banking on him to not eff up again? Good luck with that.

If they had just re-signed Pryor (for basically the same $ you paid Britt) you'd have a replacement for this dumbass when he effs up again.

No, that was sarcasm.

And for the money, I'm much happier with Britt. Pryor wanted a one-year deal so he could possibly cash in next year and Cleveland didn't want that (can't blame either side). Britt is just a better WR at this point in time. People went gaga over Pryor having a big year, but it's also not like he's 22-23 years old; he's going to be 28 this season, only about 9 months younger than Britt, but with far less experience and career production. In the end I think Cleveland made out just fine.

And maybe they'll draft Kizer or Watson with their other pick in the 1st. That way they have another option after the first option fails.

More likely that they trade down with that #12 overall.

true. But still more likely they trade than draft Kizer or Watson with that pick.
I would not want either of them at that point in the first. It may be me, but it seems like Trubisky is separating himself from the pack.

Also, McShay is a moron. He has the Browns taking Watson at 12 with Trubisky still on the board.

Both McShay and Kiper are morons...they fit in well at ESPN.

Yes you're very correct there. It's upsetting that they make as much as they do to be so wrong.
