This is as bad as it gets. In the past I had flirted with the idea of gradually moving away. When I heard Dan and Vinny were scouting QBs I was about done. But then he fires Ceratto, hires a proven winner in Shanahan and I got roped back in. After a disaster of a year with Allen I got suckered again with the belief that SM had total control.

I honestly don't how many more times Lucy needs to pull the ball away before I learn. I am just so disgusted I honestly don't care what they do with FA and the draft. Fuck you Redskins.

It was reported years back Snyder was going to hire Jim Fassell--when he found out the backlash from fans he backed off.

If we unite he can't ignore us.

As far as we know Scot has not been fired yet. Maybe it's inevitable. Who knows. But fuck it we should try.

1. Contact the team: E-mail the redskins and let them know you are dissapointed. That you will not spend money/go to games. I have pasted a template below. EDIT: Use this link to contact the team. PICK A RANDOM DEPARTMENT so they cannot cover it up. Every single part of this organization needs to know.

2. Tweet the team: @Redskins should do it but feel free to include current or former players. Might be nice to include Scot's wife (@JessicaMcCloug1) so she knows we are all behind him IT WILL GET BACK TO HIM. /u/chadwiko suggested also tweeting at @scottsallen@dcsportsbog@bmcnally14@diannaESPN@HouseFromDC @JeffDarlington

3. Call the team: Tomorrow when the lines open call (301) 276-6800 and let them know you will not spend a dollar. You are horrified at what has occured to Scot.

4. Physical Protest: There is a March on Ashburn planned for THIS FRIDAY AT 8 AM Please see link. Please spread the word and if you can make it, do so. Again, if only 20 people show up that will still be enough for media to bother covering. IF YOU GO TO THE MARCH AND POST/SEND ME A PHOTO I WILL GIVE YOU REDDIT GOLD.

This may all sound silly. Stupid. Maybe it is. But we are the fans--this team existed long before Snyder and it will endure after. It's important for the fans to take back the team.

I have been a Redskins fan for [X] years and I am writing to express my extreme displeasure in how the team is being run. The recent Washington Post article paints a picture of pettiness that I simply cannot support. Scot McCloughan deserves to finish his 4 year contract--in only his 2 years of running the team the Redskins have posted their first back to back winning seasons for as long as I can remember.

I will not go to games. I will not buy merchandise. I will not support this front office if Scot is let go.

It's funny how much deep seated anger, disappointment and hatred there is among fans, followers and loyalists of this team. I am convinced that this phenomenon is not unique here but can be found throughout the NFL. What really bothers me is the questioning of ones fandom or loyalty to the brand. Yes it's been done here and often, however the truth of the matter is, that is a step too far. While we all appear to agree that there is a love/hate affair with this team, let us take care that we do not destroy the forum, because of a limited capacity to understand that not fitting into personal definitions of what a "true or real" fan, follower, or loyalist is, we become blind to the fact that we all love and hate this bitch differently.

Krush, I've got to tell you man.....I don't know if you've ever been in the military, but as fellow soldiers will do in a firefight, I've got your back. We may or may not agree as posters from time to time, but the letter and suggestions related to fans sending notes signifying their displeasure are great ideas...Thanks!!

That & the current "Fire Allen" petition on the web almost appear to be the same thing. Allen - either on his own or as the mouthpiece for Snyder - appears to be the one getting in the way of offering a legit extension to Cousins in spite of some of the apparent lies that he spews to the media.
