yah- Noah's contract might even be worse than Mozgovs--- at least Mozgov can give you minutes on a regular basis.

He's not even in the top 5 of bad deals.

Noah, Lin, Parsons, Ezeli, Solomon Hill....all worse.

Evan Turner, Jeff Green isn't money well spent either.

So, the Lakers are going with Black/Zubac and Ingram as starters over Deny and Mosgov from this point on.

Makes total sense now that the Season has taken a turn for the worse.

But, How in the hell are they gonna rid themselves of those contracts this Summer?

Bill Oram: Luke Walton said he discussed changing starting lineup with GM Mitch Kupchak and EVP Jim Buss. Both were supportive, he said.

Mike Trudell: Walton confirmed his starting line up of Russell, Young, Ingram, Randle and Black. And more Zu off bench. Increased focus on development.

Those contracts didn't look great when they were announced and look worse now, although I thought Deng would be closer to earning his money. I'd bet there are teams willing to take on shit contracts for a few years in order to gain some assets in the form of draft picks.

I don't think Deng has been healthy all year.

I bet they could easily find a taker for Lou Williams.

But like you said, Deng and Mosgov will definitely require a sweetener ala young players/pick if they want to move them now.

I don't see them doing that during the Season.

Might as well see how the draft shakes out unless they get a killer deal.

Lou looked like the 6th man of the year early on in the season, not sure how he's played recently but I do think a contender could trade for him. Selling Deng/Mosgov now with picks attached wouldn't make sense.

Williams probably. don't wanna get rid of him, but he's a viable trading asset...

i'm all for KEEPING Clarkson though, IF we can...

im not ready to kill the Solomon Hill deal as he is young and a good defender at plays a tough position even if he has been a disaster offensively.

Parsons is probably worse...Noah i would agree with.

Ezeli is only 2 years at a lot less money- the Lakers would take Ezeli for Mozgov to get rid of those last 2 years in a second.

can we interest you in a 31 year old center with 3 years 48 million left on his contract who averaged 21` minutes a game, 51% shooting , 7.5 pts and 5 rebounds a game?

or perhaps a 32 year old small forward shooting 39.6%, 8 pts, 5.6 rebounds, a game with only 3 years 54 million left on his contract?

:L

The years really never made any sense from day 1.
The Lakers were competing against whom for their services?

On another note, Heat putting up a 40 spot in the 1st qtr.
Not sure where this came from.

No doubt. What's gotten into the heat? I never cared much for the heat, but this is fun to watch.

No explanation.
They got healthier, but I never thought they had the talent to put together anything like this.
They always played hard, even during all the losing.
I think they have a great locker room, which often times is ignored.

Also, as the announcers just pointed out, players like Waiters and James Johnson had never been forced to be conditioned like they are now.
Johnson doesn't even look like the same person we saw in October.

Cavs/Wizards a good game right now. I thought this hot streak from the Wizards was a fluke, but apparently not. Looks like they are getting on the same page. They might make some noise in the playoffs!

Side note, have to wait until tomorrow to see my Hornets play the Nets. If they're going to tank, might as well roll out Miles Plumlee and the Ten-Day Contracts. (Hey, that sounds like a great name for a band!)
