well with Delly they dealt him in order to get an exception that led them to Korver who will play more and better minutes in the post season.

As for Mozgov- he had his ass stapled to the bench- and was never coming back- after the Lakers big against themselves for him that was doubly true. Frye is playing his minutes and is currently the BEST BIG MAN AT SHOOTING THE 3 IN THE ENTIRE NBA. Plays much better in the Cavs spacing system for LeBron. And predictably--- Mozgovs per minute numbers and % have dropped off precipitously. A center shooting under 51% who shoots no threes is pretty much a disaster offensively.

Cavs already have/had Andy exception, correct?

1. They had no clue JR would be injured

2. If thats the case, then why is James whining and playing more mpg then anyone in the league?
actually he is 15th in minutes in the league - even though he is 2nd per game- is only 15th and behind guys like Durant, Lowry, etc. because the Cavs have rested him--- and will only rest him more as the season goes on--- especially if they are able to create more room in the standings and hold onto their 1 seed- even though in the grand scheme of things- i know LEBron doesnt even care about the 1 seed.

KEvin Love really seems to be more relaxed this year and better equipped to be in Ty Lue's system....at 20 and 11- he is having the best season a James-led-teams 3rd option has ever had. His rebounding is elite, he is one of the best shooting big men in the entire league, and he is getting to the line.

The Knicks would have to give up a HELLUVA lot more then Melo to get him.

this is just what happens when you finally get some continuity thoguh- and thats why i am so glad the Cavs have so many pieces of their core signed up.

AFter this season the Warriors will be scrambling to put a team around their Big 4--- while that is a GREAT problem to have- starting iwth their Big 4---- its gonna be tough- Livingston and Iguadala are almost assuredly gone.

The Cavs Big 3 will obviously be there along with Tristan, and you take the Warriors 4 over the Cavs top 4 no doubt about it

but after that?- the Cavs have Jr, Shump, Korver, Jefferson, Frye ---- the Warriors are going to have to go dumpster diving and start over with a lot of new role players and that hurts that continuity.

I love the fact that last year, this year, and next year- the Cavs will have fundamentally the same core that has grown together. They didnt have that year 1 and it was ugly at times. After a few years of basically the same core- its just a totally different feel.

You better go pump this sunshine up Lebron's ass because he doesn't seem to share your sunny disposition.

i think people are blowing it WAAAAAAAAAAY out of proprtion...

somehow LEBron wanting a backup veteran point guard has turned into a big thing? Its pretty hilarious actually.

When you look at the big picture- the Cavs are defending Champions, 1st in the East, highest payroll in history- and have a full postseason roster

if the only thing LeBron can find to bitch about is the backup point guard who will be the 10th or 11th guy on the roster- that is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in my book.

I said MPG, not minutes played.

They lose whenever he sits, so its pretty illogical to say he can rest and have the Cavs create more room in the standings.

They better create more room though if they want the 1 seed.
Have u looked at March/April schedule?

It's turned out to be a big thing because Lebron made it one by passive aggressively throwing his FO and teammates under the bus.

Really not that difficult to grasp. If he had kept it "in house" there wouldn't be any discussion about it.

So, first you say that the Cavs are looking for someone who can provide minutes in the playoffs and finals. Now you say Lebron is bitching about needing a 10th or 11th guy (who, by definition, wouldn't be part of a playoff rotation). You need to pick a side.

Guess Cavs didnt need Delly exception since they already had one.

i said the Cavs arent going to spend money or resources on guys that wont help them in the playoffs.

Its why they havent signed a dleague guy---- if they are goonna sign a dleague guy just play Felder or McRae. Its why they let Delly go and used his trade exception on Korver- a guy shooting 42% from 3 who will actually help LeBron in the playoffs...its why they let Mozgov go- thats the question they ask- will you help me in the playoffs? in the answer is NO- they arent going to spend resources to keep you around.

Last year LeBron was bitching about the coach- and getting him fired--- if this year his biggest gripe is backup point guard-- thats AMAZING. lol...thats nothing....this Cleveland Cavaliers team is the mentally toughest team in the league or no way they are the first team in NBA HISTORY to comeback from 3-1.

well of course you would rather use Minutes per game becuase it doesnt take into account the games the Cavs have rested LeBron- it totally ignores them. lol....i mean thats common sense....

the AMOUNT of minutes he has played is much more relevant then MPG---- shit- if a guy can play 3 games out of 50 and have a high MPG.

None of this means a damn thing. The Cavs have to be able to beat either the Warriors or Spurs in the finals. It looks very doubtful they can beat the Warriors 4/7 and they'd likely only be a slight favorite or a pick 'em vs. the Spurs.

yah i heard the same crap last year too. How did that work out?

As i said in a previous post- LeBron/Kyrie/Love have never lost a playoff series where all 3 are healthy. That is a trend that WILL continue.

None of this has anything to do with what I posted or what Lebron has been bitching about. No one needs a history lesson on last years finals. Last years finals mean absolutely nothing this year.

What does last year have to do with this year? The Warriors got better, the Cavs didn't. Obviously, it doesn't mean the Warriors will win, but they certainly did a lot more to improve their chances than the Cavs have.

Its a factor, but IMO, its not that black and white.

James has been forced to play HARD minutes cause the games have been usually close.

Example, Curry played in a ton of games last sesson, but was able to sit our a ton of 4th qtrs.

Another problem with your argunent is that the Cavs cant win when he doesnt play.

as long as the Cavs have LeBron Raymone James and a healthy supporting cast id take them against anyone. Those 3 guys- Love/Irving and LeBron have NEVER lost a playoff series while all 3 are healthy.

Exactly.
James went from Heat champion to Cavs, 1 season removed.
