if the Cavs really wanted a d-leaguer for that spot they could signed one months ago- think they are looking for a guy who is a little higher level with a little more experience.

Hopefully they do what they have planned on doing all along- either get one in a dump trade closesr to the deadline when teams might contemplate those type of deals, or wait until the buyout deadline and hope a guy like Joe JOhnson from last year becomes available.

Id hate to clog up a roster spot and then see a guy of that caliber become available.
its really scary how right i am....lol

Cavaliers hoping for post-deadline, free-agent magic

Yeah, with Lebron whining about needing more help, rumors about a Love for Melo trade and the Cavs bringing guys in for workouts, I'm sure you're the only person on the planet who was able to figure out that the Cavs might look to pick someone up at or after the deadline. What a Nostradumbass you are. :L

this was interesting.

this year Durant and Curry make a combined 38 million.

next year after they sign their deals they will make a combined $72 million- which will both surpass Conley's deal as the largest deals in NBA history.

Why?
According to @WiggyRuss he's just a d league scrub putting up meaningless stats on a bad team.

Didn't that bad team just beat the Cavs though (as well as several other good teams)?

Yep.

That bad team is 2.5 out of the playoffs and are 14-10 since their 6-20 start

Somewhere down the line, the sun will rise. I sure look like a genius.

They won 4 in a row and beat the Spurs and Cavs on back-to-back nights.

Dude is crushing it.

I hope they gave him guaranteed money.
2 years at the minimum...dude JUMPED at the chance to get league min. dollars locked up for 2 seasons.....good for him...its good to see a dleague guy get a chance on a crap team like that becuase of injury and really show that he deserves a roster spot- even if it is on the Mavs.

.....and this should stop any Butler to the Wolves talk.

UCLA player. So, I homer for him.

Hope he comes back strong.
what? you think they wanted LaVine or do you think that precludes them from including Dunn in a deal?

Lets hope the Cavs can beat up on the Bricks tonight...Knicks suck- and K Love is back....I want to see Kyrie keep up the play and do a little more distributing like he was in December and hte last couple games.

Korver looks like he is getting more comfortable to...and anytime you can go into MSG and beat the crap out of the Knicks is ALWAYS fun.

I bet Melo will be "showcasing" himself. Supposedly the Knicks have offered to up the ante and give the Cavs more than just Melo if they will get Love--- not that the Cavs will do it unless they get an offer they cant refuse--- but it shows just how desperate Phil Jackson is.
