Also find it kind of hilarious that the Warriors have found a back up point guard before the Cavs have. Livingston has only been out 2 games. LOL.

if the Cavs really wanted a d-leaguer for that spot they could signed one months ago- think they are looking for a guy who is a little higher level with a little more experience.

Kinda bummed from hearing about Chalmers workout that they didnt think he was far enough along from returning from his Achilles.

They reported Farmar looked by far the best in his workout- which isnt a surprise since he was healthy- but ICK....not really too thrilled with that option.

Hopefully they do what they have planned on doing all along- either get one in a dump trade closesr to the deadline when teams might contemplate those type of deals, or wait until the buyout deadline and hope a guy like Joe JOhnson from last year becomes available.

Id hate to clog up a roster spot and then see a guy of that caliber become available.

The current Warriors brass have actually done pretty well with their scouting of D-League players. They found Justin Holiday who has turned into a solid player. Ian Clark is firmly entrenched in the rotation. McAdoo (who I was advocating cutting earlier) has been playing well lately too.

I understand the logic in not "settling" for these D-League players, but there are guys who could immediately help out. The problem for the Cavs is that while they're waiting for these guys to become available, Lebron keeps racking up those big minutes, when they could easily be shifting them off to someone else who could be serviceable.

They could be signing a bunch of guys to 10 day contracts from here on out until one of those guys becomes available, but they've chosen not to. Weber is only on a 10 day contract with the Warriors. It might be that after that first contract expires they let him go. Or it could be they decide to keep him on for the remainder of the year. Either way, in the next 10 days, he's going to be there with Livingston out so that Curry, Durant, Draymond and Klay don't have to log extra minutes. Hell he might not even see the court unless it's garbage time, but that's exactly what they would need him for.

if they wanted a guy to just throw in there- its gonna be Felder- like last game against hte Twolvse--- they arent gonna pick up a dleague point guard to play in front of Felder.

Weber isnt a typical D league scrub.
Heat fans like him.
Just a numbers game here.

Yeah definitely. My initial comment was more of a joke than serious.

like-

the Cavs are the defending NBA Champions wih the highest payroll in the history of the league- and the best player in the world signed a multi-year contract with them after you said he would never sign anything more than a 1 year deal? lol.

I thought by league rules he wasnt allowed to sign another 1 year?
Corrrect or not?

You're totally illogical, as proven by you continuing to bring up Bosh.

Lets see what the Heat did to cause bad blood.

1. They bring him here to be part of the historical Big 3.

2. They give him a full term max when he became a FA.

3. They put his health first, when he comes down with blood clots. Included, he gets paid every nickle of every year.

Yep, he should be pissed..:L

It's amazing that Wiggy-wham continues to this very day to bag on the Heat and how we treated our Big 3, including Lebron. But here we are in year 3, and Lebron's publicly bitching about the roster and saying the franchise is cool with winning one title and not contending for another. Whether he's out of the lines with that statement - it goes against everything Wiggy-wham has been trying to feed us for 2 1/2 years.

Cavs have a big guy on their D-League team they will probably bring up as a backup big if they don't pickup someone else just past the deadline.

Im pretty sure they'll add a buyout or waiver pickup (or 2).

The Cavs will be more then hard pressed to accomplish what the Heat did.
Prob wont.
Keep trying though.
Im getting a good laugh from it.

If they matched what the heat did, i would be pretty impressed. The heat had a 26-29 year old lebron (absoloute prime), cavs have a 30-33 lebron

It would actually be more impressive, especially considering the GS warriors are a better team looking at almost every statistic than both the spurs of 2014 or okc thunder, so it would also be against better competition

They also have a chance to even do better...they are on the right course tho right now

I was going to ask you how that goes. Considering you let Lebron shaft you on a regular basis, I'd have to imagine that you let him stick his hand up your ass every now and then.

Incredible finish to this game by Russ. Memphis were up 102-99 with under 3 to go. Russ went on to end the game on his own personal 15-0 run. Doesn't get any better than that. Just wow
