if the number of all stars is inconsequential- then didnt Alridge do the SAME THING AS Durant when he joined Kawhi in San Antonio?

if LeBron joining Love and Kyrie is no different then Durant joining Green, Thompson and Curry--- then why would Alrdidge joining Kawhi be any different? -- because apparently the # of all stars doesnt matter....right?

Yes, Aldridge and West when they joined the Spurs.

Marc Stein and Ramona Shelbourne just put out a story about the Knicks trying to get Love from the Cavs.

According to the report, the Cavs are interested in melo, but won't give up Love.

apparently from reading the article it would impossible for the Clips to make a deal for Anthony since they are "hard capped" from using hte full mid level on Wes Johnson- the Cavsa rent hard capped because they used the mini-mid level on RJ

And apparently Boston really doesnt have any interest becuase they dont think he fits their team


i dont necesarily think Anthony to the Cavs makes a lot of sense- but if they want to move him for a handful of role players- cool by me....no way the Cavs deal Love for him though.....

If i was Griffin i would sit back and give Phil the big old middle finger until he either crumbles and swallows some of that pride---- or he is stuck with Carmelo. lol.

it doesnt surprise me Melo has no interest in going to a place like houston or washington where he wouldnt have a chance in hell of winning anyway.-- plus even though Houston may be aggrssive enough to make a deal like that- its pretty clear the Wizards are content sitting on their hands as they havent added a major player around John Wall in years.

I thought when Lebron joined the Cavs they were in the lottery 4 straight years. And Kevin Love was still with Minny ... Cleveland had just drafted Wiggins and the Love trade didn't happen for another month. (late August)

You don't honestly think that Lebron was going to Cleveland without knowing he'd get exactly what he wanted, do you?

i cant say that LeBron joining 2 all stars that have never been to the playoffs is the same as joining a team with 3 all stars that had already won a title and been to another Finals...if you are comfortable saying that is the same- more power to you.

Tbf, if it were LeBron's first time joining two AS's, I'd say what Durant did was way worse.

But, because of the fact that he'd already done it in Miami, it's pretty even, imo.

Clippers can trade for him if some other Team is willing to eat one of our shit contracts.

They need to free up 27-29 mil.

Crawford 13.2 mil, Redick 7.3 mil, Rivers 11 mil.

The problem comes in because the Knicks don't want Crawford.

Wade can force a buyout.

Hard to see Wade doing that. I think he wants to finish the season in Chicago and see what happens in the playoffs. Forcing a buyout would be a terrible look for him.

If Kobe would have left LA and decided to join up with like say- McGrady and Amare on the Bucks or something- i would say that is VERY different then it would be if he left LA to go to say- the Spurs and join Timmy, PArker and MAnu in their primes coming of a championship and a Finals appearance or say going to join KG, Allen and Pierce in Boston right after they won a title/and or got to the Finals.

joining 2 all stars that have little (or NO) playoff experience i think is VERY different then joining 3 all stars coming off a championship and a Finals appearance......if you dont think so- like i said- hey- everyone is welcome to their own opinion.
