Where is @Vyle203
how?See, your challenge with comprehension really gets in your way. I never said anything about MONEY. I said if they had PURSUED OTHER OPTIONS- like looked for other/additional talent- instead of waiting on JR to sign they might have found other worthy players to fill out the roster.
.
I get that. But, I don't see this situation-basketball & their players- the same as entrepreneurs. Steph, Klay & Dray didn't start this team. They were picked to play for the team just like KD was. IMO the timing of which they were picked is irrelevant. If we thought about it from your perspective then we could say the same about any player that is traded for or drafted & then wins a title with said team, couldn't we?Its like the difference between the guy that starts a successful company with his friends... and the guy that watches his friends start a successful company, and then joins with them.
The 2nd guy is probably never going to get as much credit as the 1st guy, even if he deserves it. At least not from the point of view of your average onlooker.

How do you think the Warriors got Pachulia to sign for $2m? How about what David West has been doing the last few years of his career? Some guys- more specifically role players, which is what LBJ has been calling for- have shown they're willing to sign for less for a chance at winning a title. The Cavs just won the championship- you honestly don't think guys would've signed for less to join that team?how?
with the veteran minimum even though they already had a full roster?
You seriously 100% do not understand what you are talking about at all.
maybe they could have petitioned the league for another roster spot? lol. do you think thats a good idea?

I get the Jordan analogy. But maybe he was just as lucky to be picked by a team that wasn't good which enabled him to showcase his greatness all-the-more.Yeag, I get that the analogy has its limitation.
I mean, I kind of DO think that about guys that are drafted onto teams that have already been competing for championships. Magic is 1 guy that was pretty fortunate. I mean, he would've been great anywhere... but I definitely think things would've been different if he had been drafted to the Nuggets.
That's one thing that elevates Jordan's legacy for me... the fact that his franchise was nothing before him.
dude. there roster was already full...what do you not understand about that? lol.How do you think the Warriors got Pachulia to sign for $2m? Oh that's right, because no championship teams have ever done things after winning a title in order to enhance their chances of REPEATING.dude. there roster was already full...what do you not understand about that? lol.
I suppose if David Griffin could have predicted the future and been given the gift of foresight, or somehow invented a time machine- he could have known that Anderson and Mo would have season ending injuries and gotten rid of them- but absent a time machine it would have been a difficult proposition.
maybe you have the name of a good psychic he could employ and get advice on guys who are going to get injured so he gets rid of them before their injuries happen? Let me know the psychics phone number as well. the Mega Millions is getting up there and i could use some advice on the winning numbers for next Friday.
what does that have to do with trying to sign guys when your roster is already full?Oh that's right, because no championship teams have ever done things after winning a title in order to enhance their chances of REPEATING.
But I guess you're right-letting Delly go & not replacing him when they should've & seeing as though things have worked out well for them thus far. I mean that win streak they've been on is like no other......Oh wait.
See your problem is you don't see what everyone else did last year. YOUR TEAM DIDN'T WIN BECAUSE THEY WERE THE BETTER TEAM.
That's definitely a fair point. There's two sides to the coin and I used to say the same thing back when LeBron first went to Miami.
1) On the one hand... playing with great players makes it easier for you to succeed and win games and can make you look better than you are.
2) On the other hand... playing with great players makes it harder to stand out. There is more of a need to share the ball and give up stats, which can hide - to some degree - how good you are.
The fact that Durant has gone to a 73 win team and - to this point - has shown himself to be the best player on the court says alot about how great he is.
