Me and my kid are going. He was sneaky and got me tickets right after the win. That's my boy!!
That's why I brought this up when people were saying it's too much money now to go to this game after just going to that semifinal game last week. Adding more rounds only compounds that particular problem and also removes that one bowl game that also doubles as a vacation with all of the extras that are planned out months ahead for travelers to do that week. How many average fans can even go to the semifinals and championship game now? I'd reckon that those numbers are fairly small and most fans are making the decision to go to the semis since they know their team is in it and will forego the championship where the majority of those in the stadium for that game will likely be neutral/local fans anyway.
Have fun!Me and my kid are going. He was sneaky and got me tickets right after the win. That's my boy!!

There are Bama fans on this board who have never been to a Bama game.
For what ever reason I was thinking the tickets would be around $300 like last year. I did had the most fun watching the game at bars in Clemson last year, I'll probably do that again.
Tampa is a top 5 tv market for college football and it's in the South...Arizona...not so much.
Thinking about driving down Sunday and partying, then enjoying the tailgating Saturday. I'm not paying that for tickets. Fuck that. But I would like to be there if we win it, you know ....... rarified air and all.
It helps that both campuses are only a 9 hr drive away.Tampa is a top 5 tv market for college football and it's in the South...Arizona...not so much.
Not true. I mean, the Fiesta Bowl has been played in Tempe/Phoenix for what, 40 years now? It's a cool scene out there.
Just curious. I live here in Tampa.
Would love to be there just to witness an Alabama loss.
