The Oilers have the Kings pick as well. I doubt the Kings get a 1st for Smyth. Certainly not 1st overall.

My browser was not letting me use smilies but I figured you guys would know I was joking. I am really guessing a 5-7th rounder. Just with no picks in the first 2 rounds Kings fans must be going crazy. The last few years the Kings have had multiple picks in lots of early rounds.

My nephew is a goalie for a mite A team in baldwin/whitehall PA area... this past season Gibson's folks let my nephew use Gibson's first pair of pads... that was a big boost in my nephew's confidence, knowing a local kid can make it to the NHL and being able use his pads made it even more 'real' for him... now my family has a little soft spot for gibson. here's hoping he goes in the 1st. The word in the hood is that the Rangers contacted him and want him... but that was back in december
