Where has anyone said anything remotely close to that? Tell me where the humility is after your base slammed the fuck out of ours for 12 years, taunting and even making a twitter account to troll the fuck out of us and now still can't just raise a glass and give us our due for finally getting up off the mat?

There is no one taking this for granted. The last 15 years was the worst span in the entire history of UW football. There is no one that is lost on. We know full well how fleeting having the good life can be. There's no sense of entitlement and no attempt to make any such claims as you seem to be fond of putting on us.

Go read anything by OD. Or a couple of the other old time duck crowd here. Read half of what is said on twitter or elsewhere on the web. There is zero of what your fans claim you were due from us when your team beat ours. We hear endlessly the hate for Husky fans is due to how arrogant we were in the James era and yet your fans respond by actually acting even worse, and with no titles to back it up. And now? All of this endless complaining over some sense we don't get where we have been. Not one single bit of proof to back it up. Just more sour grapes from a base that clearly hasn't learned a thing in their short window of relevance in college football.

NU - 245-87 74% winning - 3 losing seasons - 8 top 10 finishes
AU - 204-103 66% winning - 5 losing seasons - 4 top 10 finishes (6 if you count ineligible seasons)

2.95 National Championships (We'll give Michigan .05 for 1997 although only the state of Michigan recognizes their claim). I guess the writers did too, but that's a hunk of wood and not the crystal football.
3 undefeated seasons.

Played and lost 2 more "title games".

And I still wouldn't put Nebraska in the "elite category"
