I tried to add Dennis Erickson Miami 2 NC's, but just checked and he's a running backs coach.
Oh no shit? What number did he wear?If I'm not mistaken, Mack Brown was the #3 all time winningest coach in the BCS era. He won a Natty and played for another one. Also came close to playing for 2 more in '01 and '08.
Yeah going 11-2 year after year after year at Texas in the Big12 conference, although not hard to do, will get you up there in overall wins fast.If I'm not mistaken, Mack Brown was the #3 all time winningest coach in the BCS era. Well Barry was caught cheating so...These need to be switched.
Barry was 12-5 vs Tom
11 Conference Championships vs 7
3 NC's vs Zero in that time frame.
And Switzer had 2 undefeated seasons. 1973 and 1974
Well Barry was caught cheating so...
Nick Saban at Alabama? Alabama was on probation for something like 30 years, I don't remember when it ended. And he was so good he won Back To Back National Championships while on probation.
Who else has ever been able to do that.

oh Carroll did huh? Then he met this machine. You're joking right? You're questioning the strength of the Big 12 during Mack's tenure when the Pac 10 was ruled by only one team 95% of the time while Mack was coaching? Oh, and Mack's team beat the only relevant team from the Pac 10 during the BCS era. SC ran through the PAC with ease during the Carroll era. There is a reason only 1 Pac team has won a natty in the last 27 years.....
After winning the conference 7 straight years.oh Carroll did huh? Then he met this machine.
Ah yes, you are referring to the U$C days. After winning the conference 7 straight years.
