Why not bring 11?then bring 6. He only brings 4 on a lot of occasions.

Compton aint the fastest kid on the block. BUt neither was LFB. What we lack is a true difference maker beside him. Foster is a backup forced to start. Add to it, Ziggy is our starting NT. Again another backup rotation guy... playing out of position to boot.
What i would like to see is
1. We get a real NT in here, some one demanding of double teams and a space eater.
2. Either have Cravens put on 5 LBS and become the other starting ILB, or move him to FS as the starter and get another difference maker at ILB.
3. We need a thumper at SS. Duke has been ok sort of. BUt we need a play maker out of one of our safty's
The reason why every qb is great against us is that Barry doent bring pressure in pressure situations. We have two guys that will have double digit sack years and Norman. Its enough to be average. We are at the bottom of the league b/c of Barry.
I want Barry gone and today was just another reason why. On 3rd & 16, you have not only Baker who can barely get out of his stance rushing, you have Spaight (playing for Compton) and Foster lined up 10 yards off the ball in a back pedal (obvious passing down) and they end up about 18 yards deep and watch Ertz catch the ball in front of them. Now, you tell me why (happened all day) those 2 players are even on the field? Neither can cover anyone on the field let alone Ertz and they seemed clueless. Bring in 6 DB's to cover in that situation and a speed rush with Bates, Smith, Murphy, Kerrigan, Garvin and another blitzer type guy, don't care who he is. Now you have guys on the field that can defend the down & distance. That's middle school type crap and he can't figure it out.The ending of the Lions game sealed it for me with Joe Barry. I'll never forgive him for that. He had the defense play a prevent defense and only rush three. Unbelievable.
I thought the alignment was fine, wrong personnel on the field. I realize Cravens was out but we have Xtra DB's to cover that down & distance. So what is your defensive alignment? 4-1-6? Often the D on third and passing is two DTs, two OLBs down in the DE position, 2 LBs and 5 DBs or a 4-2-5. You are saying one more DB is the cure to the D?
I don't always agree with his personnel groupings. Earlier I saw you mention Kerrigan on the sideline. I think he rotates at times. Not sure I always agree but to me we play zone too loosely and there is too much confusion in coverages. That is where I think the coaching issues come in.
