Well it's a bye week and therefore NO Prediction Friday. Awwww, yeah I know right? However, I thought that this might be a fun topic to spend a few moments on.

Which of our guys are our MVP's at the midway mark?

As it stands now, I'm going with J. Crowder and C. Thompson on Offense with an honorable mention to V. Davis. On the defensive side of the ball it's gotta be Norman and I know I'll get myself in an argument with this one but....Trent Murphy. Your picks and thoughts?

The offensive MVP is KC...the sweet surprise is JC.

Defensive MVPs are RK and JN...sweet surprise is TM.

I can agree with that. I would give an honorable mention to the O line that has only allowed 11 sacks - tied for 2nd in the NFL. We will see if they can keep it up w/o their best player for the next month.

Good call on Chris Thompson, he has really turned into a solid producer. But I gotta go with Kirk as offensive MVP, without him we are screwed. I can't agree with Norman, begin better than Breeland does not mean he has lived up to his contract. RK is my defensive player so far but nobody has been close to great.

Surprise player for me is Spencer Long at center. I never thought that would work and he is a big part of the improved OL.

I agree with this but Norman is borderline. We ask him to do a lot so that is why I am sitting on the fence.

I think you have to give a big nod to Trent and Scherff too. Not having Trent is going to hurt. I think it might limit the playbook some. Hopefully Ty can step up big time.

Offensive MVP - Trent if you can ignore the suspension (which is pretty bad)

Defensive MVP - Norman

Yep - might want to give an assist to Callahan since he appears to have done a fine job developing all of these guys. The next month will determine if perhaps he can do an outstanding job.

I still don't get the love for Norman. He is paid to make plays and he has 1 pick. I just read a Post mid-season report that claimed he neutralized the other team's top receiver.. Beckham got him for 7 for 121 and his performance against AJ Green was nothing short of embarrassing. But I guess his play against the horrible Eagles receivers was what they meant. :L

1 pick to go along with what? 4 dropped INTs (3 against Cincy/1 against NYC) and multiple penalties each keeping drives alive that would eventually result in Skins opposition scoring TDs.

Those dropped pick 6s could've came in handy in the Cincy game for sure.
