Last I heard Gruden said it was Wednesday and that is not decided yet. Game plan is not fully installed.

Really?? How hard is it to script out 5 Running plays all game, 19 different Corner fade routes and going five wide on 3rd and goal from the 7?? :trash:

So now it's being reported that the reason Norman didn't travel in the first two games is because Breeland was offended by the fact that he wasn't trusted to cover Brown and Dez. Cooley and Kevin espn 980.

Not sure what's worse, if not true it means Barry is an idiot, if true it means he's letting one of his players dictate the game plan at the expense of the entire franchise.

Remember, Breeland was upset when we signed Norman. The lockeroom appears to be on the verge of imploding yet again. The Giants game is a must win for so many reasons.

Think what's bugging me the most right now is not even that we've lost 2 games...but the cancer that seems to surround this team and fan base when we do.

Gawd, we need a win.

Almost 20 years of DS ownership has certainly affected the media and fans. Maybe a big part of it is social media too.

As I have said... as a fan base we suffer from group PTSD. That or CBFS ( Charlie Brown Football Syndrome), even when it looks good for a moment, we start running towards the ball for the kick, knowing its going to get snatched away at the last second and we will swing for all we are worth... only to end up on our asses yet again.

Yep, Danny Boy has created an aura of shite about many things.

As to social media, I agree its a big factor these days no doubt. Do like the upside in terms of access to players/info but the obvious downside is players who are young and share too much and troll/hot take sources.

For EXACTLY this reason it's most important to remain level headed and not over react. Perspective is critical.

Well - Fox showed that very depressing stat on Sun that basically stated that in the recent past the Redskins either finish 1st or last in the NFC-E every season & never back-to-back 1st place finishes. Certainly could go this way again - let's hope not. Sigh.

With that in mind can you really blame fans for having kneejerk reactions or going on emotional tirades that don't always make sense? It is all part of being an NFL fan. Oh well.

Overreacting is what most football fans do. Look at a lot of the Eagles fans now - they already appear to be making plans for the playoffs. The overreacting & emotions are part of what makes football fun.

Not at all. And I think we are asking for the same thing, just in respect to different players. Bottom line, if we lose this weekend I expect people to start calling for every ones heads.

I didn't have us making the playoffs this year for a bunch of reasons. I hope I am.wrong about that. The Skins still have not lost a game I thought they would win, so 0-2 bothers me because I hate losing, but I am not in any way surprised.

It's the way we have lost that concerns me. I wanted to see Kirk pick up where he left off, not regress. I wanted to see a Scot FA class work out for a change. I wanted to see Barry put the best guys out there, not his guys, or Scot's guys. Most of all I wanted to see if the culture change was real or just a byproduct of winning. We all know winning cures all. Two losses and we already have finger pointing and massive locker room leaks.

This is how I had us pre-season.
