I agree, and I in turn can pass on their product if in fact it may be one I may consider to pass on in. It's all about the almighty fucking dollar. I'm sure Brandon isn't hurting.

Yup. Your right to give the people who dropped him the middle finger.

Isn't freedom of choice an awesome thing?

I would guess most people that hate Colin Kaepernick and Brandon Marshall for not standing during the national anthem are probably the same people who don't give a shit about the point of their protest.

And if your ire is stoked by someone not standing for the national anthem, you probably have an awesome life. If that is what does it for you things must be looking pretty bright.
Yep, 90 seconds a week showing respect is way too much to ask. Great example they're setting. Yeah I know they didn't sign up to be role models. Even though it's their right there are some things you just should or shouldn't do. Like laughing at a funeral, sure you the right but just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I'm allowed to not like certain things about this country. I love the idiots to act like just because you're from a country that you can't act like there's anything wrong with the country. America is not perfect. End of the story.
I don't think anyone would or is disagreeing with you? Where are these so-called posters saying there is nothing wrong with our country? All you have to do is look at our two presidential nominees? Obviously, our political system is not perfect. Let's not get started on the judicial system and all their problems. Then of course there is the fine NFL's commissioners officer. Nope we ain't perfect by a long strech of the imagination.

And who pays the cops more when they saved a baby, stopped a r*pe, or murder. If you were a cop, and every day you went to domestics, murders, crackhead, junkies dead with a needle, you would be a little rattled. Most people come home from a regular job and are all stressed out. Don't put yourself in a situation and your not gonna get shot, pure and simple. If i get pulled over and start reaching under the seat or look like I'm pulling a gat out of my pocket and stop, walla maybe prison time for whatever I did wrong. Sorry but in my opinion 50% of the deaths are justified
Sorry you're wrong here Sonny. That number is higher than 50%

I don't give a shit about the point. Fuckers are making millions for playing 16 games in this beautiful country. Parachute them to Africa , take away their riches and see how they like life there. Are are the last people to show disrespect

They would probably turn them into slaves which they still have in Africa. It's not racism it's just terrible human beings and nobody here talks about it. We just talk about slavery here in America which was the first country to make slavery illegal.

If they are lucky. Remember in Rwanda when they had the genocide by the Hutus? They would r*pe, and hack bodies while families watched. A father would watch his daughters getting raped and then taken apart limb by limb by machetes. Or with the blood diamond trades, or just getting eaten by lions. Fuck Stalin killed over 20 million of his own Russians, or the Bosnian genocide. This country isn't a 100% , but it's a great place to live imo

Some people just love this country and its flag. Has nothing to do with racism.
Then those folks should not be so myopic and take a look at this thing from a couple different angles.

I love america, I stand for the anthem, but i understand & support Kaep's position because what he says is true.

no it was outlawed in most European countries (though not their colonies) long before America. We actually extended slavery, thanks to the cotton gin.

Humor me on what their point is.

I hope it's oppression.

Because I really want to hear from millionaires who wear clothing with fucking Fidel Castro on it about what it's like to be "oppressed". That's something I can totally stand behind.

Lol you are a moron. What they teach in school isn't close to the actual history of this county.

Tell me about it. I didn't even learn about the history of my county in school.

I'll reiterate Sonny's sentiments...

If you don't like it in this country, then please GTFO.

Signed,
America

This is quite possibly the stupidest stance you can take on the issue.

Did the founding fathers say: "Fuck it, we don't like what the British are doing. Let's get out of here." Did Martin Luther King decide that America wasn't treating black people properly so he was going to leave? So many of the great things that have happened in America are because people didn't like the way things were and decided to stand up and fight for what is right.

Go read a history book and stop with the fake patriotism.

I wonder what The Dude would say about all this?

I know what Jimmy Buffet would say " I say, pour me somethin' tall and strong
Make it a hurricane before I go insane
It's only half past twelve, but I don't care, but it's 5 o'clock somewhere"

Nothing positive will come out of this movement. It is only bringing negative attention. If your goal is to get your country to hate you, excellent work.

That must be why Kaep's jersey sales have spiked...

I think the key difference here is that the people you mentioned stood up & fought. What Kaepernick and supporters are doing is coming off as all talk and no action. So he sits during a song? What does that do? The issue he thinks he's bringing attention to is already talked about every day here. It's nothing new. Now what is he going to DO about this supposed oppression? Yes, he has s platform, but I feel like he's coming off as a spoiled child instead of a man. I can't help but think of Pat Tillman when this shit comes up. He's someone that had a similar platform and instead of putting on a dog & pony show, he DID something for what he believed in.

Fuck you, Colin.

Trump says America isn't great , get's applauded. Kaep says it isn't great and gets boo'ed.

The sad thing is Trump is running for President and could get elected.
