LSU 2019 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
On "The Paul Finebaum Show", Marcus clearly said "It is time for a new coach at LSU"
If you claim to be an LSU fan and have not come to this realization yet, I would be concerned. On "The Paul Finebaum Show", Marcus clearly said "It is time for a new coach at LSU"
As long as we are making phone calls and coming up with a plan, I don't care. This season already is a wash to me. For all this talent returning and to lose in week 1 to Wisconsin the way they did, unacceptable. But changing head coaches to an interim coach won't make this a good season. It is already a wash.Sooner than later
So then you lose probably 20 or so to transfers and another 15 to recruits that re-open up the process. I know you said screw it if they are with Miles more than LSU they can leave, but if we do that this early in the season, you may not be able to field a team.Agree, but if you take him and Cam out now, it would show recruits that LSU is done running a 50's offense and is serious about making a change. May work or not, but watching this shit show every week ain't going to work either.

Here is the problem man. Yes, technically we could. And Wisconsin could go on to be the best team in the Big 10 and we could re-face them in the play-offs. That would be a great story, but there is no way in hell of that happening. Miles came out after being told 'make changes or you can see the door'. He kept his job said screw you, and kept his shitty OC when his contract was up. Came out and made no changes to the offense, actually he went backwards. I said LSU goes 9-3 before the season, so add one loss at the very least so 8-4 maybe 7-5 on the year. And this is a veteran team returning a bunch of guys, so this is assuming non of them give up mid season and say screw this I returned for no reason, I don't care. You could win out and still make the playoffs.
Not saying that's what I think will happen, but a 1st game loss is not season ending.

Honestly Miles was getting treated like crap last year, I had a problem with the way the administration handled everything. If we were going to make a move, do it. Don't sit around and talk like a putz and bad mouth the guy, cut him freaking loose. The recruits are going anyway....
If the season is sunk, why worry about "fielding a team". It's going to be a long drawn out embarrassment.
And FUCK YOU MEDIA
This shit may have been handled last year if it wasn't for your BS commentary. Now you come out bagging on Miles. FUCK you...
Be careful what you wish for...On "The Paul Finebaum Show", Marcus clearly said "It is time for a new coach at LSU"
Don't care need a change. Acceptance is the first step in being a loser program. LSU has come to terms with Miles' horse crap. It is time. He can go lose at another program, because no way he will be great anywhere he goes.Be careful what you wish for...
Michigan couldn't stand the 9-10 win seasons under Lloyd and wanted him gone....and it took us almost a decade to recover.
He clearly cam out and said, screw you all pay my buyout I'm gone with that game.I have no sympathy for someone getting paid that much money. He can suck it up.
The problem is, your school is having huge financial issues and you have a coach winning 10-ish games a year and who has won a national title. Say you get miles out, you think the school is going to be able to shell out $7-$9 million for a top end coach at this point?Don't care need a change. Boosters pay the bailout, school has nothing to do with that. So yes absolutely they do. They were willing last year. The TAF (Tiger Athletic Foundation) is not run by the school, it is an organization that works with the school. They can do whatever the hell they want. The problem is, your school is having huge financial issues and you have a coach winning 10-ish games a year and who has won a national title. If this happens, I think I'd give up my season tickets. It's like LSU fans haven't even figured out Kiffin is their new HC next year or something.
