Lane Johnson facing 10 game suspension

He gained more than 70 lbs in college. Went from a QB prospect to an OT. How do you explain that? Now after failing PED tests for the second time in three seasons, facing a 10 game suspension and he's blaming the NFL?

I doubt he'd be on the Patriots roster after this. Do you think the Eagles are planning on him to be the heir apparent to Peters job at LT?

One was a freaking amino acid and the other one isn't worth mentioning because they have approved it after he was suspended. Quit acting like Johnson was pumping synthetic steroids.

Wasn't the one he took now simply an amino acid that is not actually juicing???

The guy is an idiot to put his salary and money at risk by not sticking with only the most approved items... but it hardly seems like he is abusing.

I have been out of the loop for a couple of days and read this today. He says he trusted a phone app that the NFL uses to scan bar codes.

My guess is they deluded themselves into thinking they could be competitive over the next two years, and perhaps they could if everything went perfectly in terms of health and development of younger players, but I don't think that is very likely.

I think they thought they'd be good enough this season to be in the 7-10 win range. And maybe they will be. The offense is not going to be very exciting but the hope is that it will be good enough for the defense to carry the team?

Do I buy that? Not really. If this team is able to hit 9-10 wins, it would be a miracle . . . but I guess stranger things have happened.

I just googled it. I believe he failed a drug test in April according to NBC news. I remember at the time thinking how the hell is he only getting 4 games.

Im starting to think they want to suspend him, but that LJ is actually in the right and the NFL is trying to fix it so they can suspend him anyway.
