They got more than they gave up in my opinion. Cleveland was willing to give the Brewers 4 top prospects before Lucroy nixed that trade.

Not saying was a bad trade. Just saying to say they didn't give up much isn't quite accurate. Also, Brinson and Ortiz are nicer than anything Cleveland was sending. But, Cleveland also wasn't getting Jeffress.

In the last 3 innings we can roll out Barnette, Kela, and Dyson one night and Bush, Diekman and Jeffress the next night if need be and no one would have to pitch 2 nights in a row. Either way I would like our chances in the last 3 innings with either of those trios.

Fielder to 60 day DL frees up spot for Beltran. Need two more for Lucroy and Jeffrees.

Still have Nicols in RR. Perhaps Wilson clears waivers but think Holaday gets picked up.

They were trying to fleece us, the price was too high, they went elsewhere, we are better for it, Moore wasn't much of an improvement

I have no idea but wouldn't have a problem believing it. It was going to take at least 4 top prospects to get it done, if not 5. Had Sale not had such a team friendly contract, they might have been able to work something out. Probably best not to put all your eggs in one basket like that, especially someone with the delivery he has.

Something else to think about. Houston didn't really make any major move, while we got a lot better.
