Playing a bad team and we're at home. Maybe the offense could take over one or two of those games. Would be nice to see.

Drew Storen was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays today. He might be a guy I'd consider worth taking a flyer on. His ERA this year is ugly (6.28), but his strong K/9, BB/9, ground ball rate, and unfortunate BABIP all indicate that he's due for a course correction. He's proven to be a quality reliever in the past, too.

Expensive rental. I think we pass. Unless they are giving him away to dump salary. I think there are smarter more controllable options.

Rangers announcer Dave R (whatever his name is) stated the hard luck loser was Hochevar. That made no sense whatsoever. 2 runs on 11 hits is not a good thing but glad pitching top from bottom took care of business.

If we were a closer away from having all the right parts, then maybe. But we've got a lot of holes to be covered.

I think if we were still up 8-10 games and Colby was healthy we would go for Chapman. Not now.
