See? That's why it was stupid. You are essentially betting on Mitch Moreland and Robinson Chirinos to get a hit over Elvis Andrus. That's a bad bet.

I'm at a total loss how he ever got the job to begin with. He doesn't have any sports knowledge, he's not a former athlete, he never gets excited about anything, and he doesn't even have a great announcing voice.

Could we trade our announcers at the trading deadline?

I have MLB at bat app and I usually listen to the other teams announcing crew when watching the game. The ones that I have enjoyed are the Twins, Red Sox, and even the Angles crew was decent. The worst ones were the Astros and the White sox.

14 base runners and only 2 runs. A lot of that is due to stupidity on the base paths and the calls for sacrificing.

Ric Renner's hair has officially graduated from ridiculous to plastic helmet. It looks like he's wearing a helmet.

Is it just me, or has Sam Dyson lost a lot of the nastiness from his pitches since he became closer? Last year as a set-up man, he used to throw just the most unhittable and unfair electric pitches. I just haven't been seeing that from him anymore.

Well damn. I hope the 9th inning isn't an adventure like last night.

What is the deal with our pitchers not being able to throw a ball to 2nd base? :noidea:

Nice try, Perez. That was such a delayed reaction.
