'Tis but a scratch...
YAY, TIGERS! You managed to score FOUR FREAKING RUNS in a home series against MINNESOTA FREAKING TWINS pitchers. What do you do for an encore?
They really need to take a long and hard look at the GM and Manager and aim for some radical changes, but Illitch is old and I doubt he can think that far ahead of the curve. I just don't trust the owner atm, especially if you follow the Red Wings situation as well.If the Tigers slip back to around .500 within the next week or 10 days, AND they fail to add any significant player(s) at the trade deadline (very possible).....I wonder if we see Mr. Ausmus and even Avila given their walking papers? Might be a good time too do it IF, and this is important, the owners/front office staff have an idea who they want to replace them AND want a total change in the game plan. If they just want to bring in Avila's asst and make Lamont the manager...why bother? They need to make BIG changes and have an entirely new view of the team. (Illitch in the Florida home, as I mentioned before)
Word on the street out here in Maine...
Boyd for Rich Hill.
The stars would have to align!Rich Hill will be missing his next start to re-occurring blister problem. If that keeps up, Hill's value may start to drop until Detroit can pick him up for Bruce Rondon.![]()
Yep. Been camping in Acadia this week. Heading "down east" today. (Even though it's south and west. Idk why they say that.)U on vacation Smitty? Republican convention....
Sounds like a great trip....Fenway is cool....Yep. Been camping in Acadia this week. Heading "down east" today. (Even though it's south and west. Idk why they say that.)
Plan is to hit up Fenway on Monday.
Went thru Cleveland last week, but without TV I've missed all of this weeks entertainment. Lol
All in on the Tigers on SportsHoopla tonite...Muzz
I'm just curious to know why you define them as "unhungry" or atleast why they are in the first place.I don't want to see Ausmus broomed...just for something too talk about. I don't think many managers could do much with this collection of players. Too many weak spots. Too many "unhungry" players. Just my theory that a collection of multi-millionaires is not the way to build a team. I want those players who are trying to BECOME multi-millionaires.....they work harder.

Bet the over. .....I just can't bet on Pelfrey....
