Buddy didn't have the greatest of games yesterday though but the kid sure can shoot

I hope he improves w/ every game but it's really a crap-shoot as far as CBB players going to the NBA. He put up a bunch of points but that doesn't mean much @ the NBA level.

To be fair, from what I've encountered most Lakers fans are to Kobe as I am to James.
Obviously they support him as a player on their team, but they know he's pretty much a jerk otherwise.

One of my buddies is a life long Laker fan, but he became disinterested in the team when Shaq left because he absolutely detests Kobe.

Now he is excited about rooting for his team again since Kobe is gone. I think there are quite a few fans who can't stand him despite everything he accomplished.

Guess he's a lot happier to stay with Dwight gone and a new head coach who knows as much about defence as he does.

Gs said they felt the pressure last year trying to be the greatest team ever, can u imagine the pressure durant and gs will be under next year...Anything less of a championship will be an utter and complete failure

It won't be the same. I'm simply saying that he made the choice to assemble what many are now calling the greatest team ever considering the core player's ages. Anything less than an absolutely dominating season and a championship will be an utter failure (and in the eyes of many....a "choke job")

Thing is, the 'team to beat' will always have insufferable fans. Heck, I remember when the Lakers were tearing the league up, the ESPN boards were full of so called Laker "fans". Fast forward six years and the true die-hard guys are still repping their team even after an abysmal 17 win season.

Betcha NONE of the cavs fans on this board will still be here once lebron becomes obsolete and the cavs are back in the lottery year after year (will happen sooner than most will believe)

You'll see how guys like @TurnUpTheHeat , @bksballer89 , @Flauge, @avalon2423 , and myself are true fans of the Heat. The Heat are looking to be downright miserable this year.

But yeah, team hopping is weak shit. Stay with one team through the thick and thin, makes the high points much more enjoyable than the lows. Unless you're a fan of the Kings or 76ers, then you have an excuse. Sorry, @Bolts
