I obviously know the difference between being a fan of a pro sports team and following the football team of the school you have some connection to. Reading your posts while I've been on this site you obviously couldn't care less about the actual college and probably couldn't find it on a map. You might as well be a fan of Manchester United since the closest you are going to get to the team is watching them on your TV.

Just going to the game isn't the only reason I qualify as a fan sparky. I went to a dozen games in the Coliseum when I lived in LA, several on the sidelines during a game, I will now claim official USC status...thinking about even adding them to my favorites.

You would think that you would actually read before you post and take the entire conversation in context. I said "connection" to the school so you care about the perception of the school not only about just football wins. My brother has his masters from SC my uncle who began taking me to games as a kid is an alum and taught there for 15 years. I'm in a creative field so specific art schools were more to my liking. But full circle I have worked on projects on campus. So yeah I have plenty of connections to the school. You can ad what ever you want to your favorites for all I care.
