The only reason you give a shit about the topic is because Alabama. Otherwise it's a non story, just like it is for the 2 kids that were in the car and didn't get arrested because they weren't Alabama players.

My kids often make bad decisions because they are young and pretty stupid. If you think handling teens is like handling a 2 year old then you are in for a world of pain. If you think yours won't be the same, then you're dumb.

What matters when they start working towards adulthood is if they learn from those mistakes, but all people like you want to do is ruin their lives instead. It's pretty stupid and if it were your kid your opinion would be much different. I've seen so many parents who want the toughest laws for weed - right until their kids get busted.

Even if charged, they were both 1st time offenders and they would have had to do community service and it would have been taken off their records, as is normal. Saban made them do the community service already, and I'm sure that's only the start of the consequences.

I NEVER SAID THEY WERE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. However thinking they have done nothing wrong after this is beyond stupid. That is the only reason I care, because you and the rest of the idiotic gump nation is brushing it off as nothing when theses kids screwed up. Have your kids ever been in a park at 2 am with a drug and a stolen gun? That's beyond being stupid. Sure mine will screw up along the way but I hope it isn't this bad that they do it.

Next these idiots weren't teens, they were in their 20's. Sure we all did stupid stuff but to do something like this and to get caught. Getting out on a technicality. GTFO, they should be suspended for at least USC.

I wouldn't have the first clue if any of my guns had been stolen. All I know is I didn't steal them and I don't think they were.

In Alabama there is no gun registry or permits required to own a gun. The only way you could know if it was stolen is if you went down to the police station and such, which nobody does. Even then, you are not required by law to notify the police the gun has been stolen so it might not even show up.

Alabama is actually in the top10 for most stolen guns. The issue would be if he personally stole the gun, then he would be guilty of theft.

And it's laws like these that make it so easy for people to go on killing sprees
