Dont take it the wrong way, but it does.

There is a pecking order. And you rank higher than I do.

Or let me put it another way, Donald trump would find you alot less of a problem than me or my wife.

Reasonably true in the pecking order but it is usually about culture more than race.

Asian
Euro
Latino
African

And the murder rates worldwide usually follow suit. The thing is...stereotypes exist for a reason. Stereotypes are not universal but different cultures do value different traits.

HIlary is the biggest POS of all. She isn't thoughtful at all. She is a greedy bitch. Look up the following with regards to her...

Watergate
Whitewater
Deaths associated with the Clintons
How Hilary treats secret service
Uranium 1

No argument if that is your honest assessment, but it scares the hell outta me that of the two choices left, one has no chance of getting the nomination of his party and the other has the capacity to literally fire off a 3am tweet that gets another generation into a war costing untold human life.

Okay, I'll do you one better: when was the last time you were denied admission in higher education or in employment because the powers that be think that there are far, far too many Asians there?

Fair point... but I wish I would ever get denied a job in my field because there were too many black guys in the company. I would trade that for getting stopped for 3 miles over the speed limit and the first question out of the officers mouth is/// do you have any drugs or weapons in the car. :suds:

And to put this in context, I do a job that consists of a team of 40... IM the only black guy and there are 7 people of Asian or Japanese decent.... so there you go.

Your concession only shows you that your point that Asians are higher in some pecking order is BS. Every racial and ethnic group suffers discrimination of some kind. And, yes, that includes rich white guys as well.

Again dude... I would much rather be accused of being too intelligent, or taking too many jobs from white men, than assumed of being guilty of some crime simply based on my skin color. So yes there is a pecking order of sorts. By genetics you are considered to be an over achiever, IM considered to be predisposed to crime. Trade ya.

When you can articulate that second paragraph in terms I can understand, maybe I can respond to it. Until then, keep taking your own notes.

1. Research Housing Discrimination in it's historical and current form.

2. Find out why it has been kept this way and who profits.

3. Understand Eugenics and the role it plays in this form of historical and current discrimination.

4. Understand why all of the above plays a role in the PIC (Prison industrial complex)

Apologies if I was not as clear before.

You missed the point. It's not about some Asian stereotype but the discrimination Asians face when excluded from higher education and employment. And don't kid yourself about this is about taking things from white men. It's also about how Asians take spots slotted for blacks and Hispanics. I can't tell you how many blacks shouted down Asians complaining about affirmative action, telling them that if they got excluded for admission at an Ivy League school to "go to some other school."

I understand all those points. You make it seem, however, like one group has some monopoly over the discrimination pie. How about the efforts of some, including blacks, who intentionally exclude Asians from higher education? If you want to play this blame game, everyone can do that.

No one is playing a blame game, keep in mind that your original question in context to me was what is this current form of servitude that I referred to. I like this site, but far too often members tend to stray away from the original point. Let's not do that!!

So how do all those things constitute involuntary servitude?

IM not trying to say you are not discriminated against. But you got to admit, there is a difference in how we are seen in this country. If you walked down the middle of the side walk in the middle of the night, I doubt any one crosses the street to avoid you. As for the affirmative action thing, most of the guys around here who have known me for a while will tell you, if I ever thought I was the token black.. .I would leave my job that day. Bottom line is, there is a pecking order in this country. And because of genetics, we both fall short in some areas.

Let me jump in on this..... Blacks are generally paid less than every ethnic group save for Latinos in most fields. Its not so much slavery per say. But there have been multiple studies that show a white male or female with the same experience and education level makes 5-20% more than a black male in the same position. Asian males and females make less than whites, but more than blacks and latinos of the same education/experience.

Point being, racism in this country has become much more covert than it was when Sty was in high school. But its still there.

I can tell you this: most Asians won't see it that way, especially those who've played by the rules only to see that changed because of garbage social policy masquerading as some attempt at inclusion of some groups to the exclusion of them. Higher education and professional employment are holy grails for most Asians, and telling them they've got to take a back seat to others is worse than being pulled over because you're a certain race.

BTW: Remember when GK put out information that African Americans also owned slaves, well, this is true and false, but put out to make it appear that there was some form of equivalency in doing so. Well, truth is "free" Black slave owners often bought their relatives out of bondage, and when in charge of black and white slaves more often than not they were indentured. In very rare cases were there black owners who treated their slaves like the majority ownership group. The lone exception was the buying and selling of the same.

Why do I state this now? well, first I can not allow misinformation to just be taken as whole truth. Just like I won't give a pass to anyone who wants to create the false equivalency where current discrimination exists. Agreed we all are members of this full of shit country, it is however, the best that the planet has to offer in some ways. Let's not play a mine is worse than yours type game, what good does it do towards the maturation of our country?

And I can tell you most sensible black would love to be given the opportunity to earn their position if it meant we didnt have to be considered less than capable. But I guess its all based on experiences. I wish the worst thing I had to worry about for my kids was them getting refused admission to Yale because they thought there were too many Black Students enrolled. I would trade that for the nightly text messages letting me know they made it home safe any day.

Go see shark's point that none of you pointed out constitutes slavery. And "full of shit" country? I'd be more than willing to fund a one-way ticket for you to wherever you want to go.

And Asians don't worry about those same things too? A lot of them live in areas where they too face gang violence. Again, don't start on this pecking order business.

Interesting conversation you guys are having, but let me ask this. Let's say that the country decides to abort all of the "social policies" that you refer to, Where do we stop? Do we really want to go back to a time where ONLY the wealthy are allowed post secondary education? Better yet why have education at all for anyone not economically qualified to merit it?
