Lots of money tied up in the top 3 names....but honestly, I'd rather eat some of it and look to extend Darvish with the money saved.

Deshields - 4th OF or in AAA.

Hamilton - while its good PR to keep him around... he's taking up a roster spot. Maybe he can DH for the last year of his contract? Can't be any worse than Fielder...right?

Desmond - could honestly see him traded this season for pieces to flip for a bigger trade. That way everyone gets something out of the deal and the Rangers dont offer him a QO at the end of the season.

Moreland - FA after this season.

Guess you could say I'm just tired of the same team being run out there... I'm bored. Ready for something new.

I am ready to see a lot of new faces in the lineup as well. Mr. Guzman might be trying to find a place as well. Him and Cordell are really having themselves a good year so far.

I think the Condor will likely be a trade casualty. Especially if the organization wants to move Gallo to 1B. As long as helps land us a good pitcher I'm okay with it.

I started to write something last night that I wish we would go with our youth but was overwhelmed with what to say but you did a good job. Maz and Odor have been a big plus. Our 4-5-6 hitters are killing us. I don't mind having Choo as i feel he can be productive but I would be fine either way. And I can't really jump all over Andrus for once this year but Profar needs a place to play. Don't want to make us too thin in an area.

I wasn't, it was a response - sort of - to getting rid of Andrus/keeping him. In the past most of us have been on board in getting rid of Andrus. But he has done much better. So if we keep him we really have no place for Profar other than 3rd for when Beltre retires but not sure what we did with him in the mean time. So that may lead to the need to trade him but not because he has been holding us back this year. Confusing?

Like hell they wouldn't. They know what we have in our farm system and they would be salivating at the opportunity to raid it. Think about who would be coming their way. Most likely a good majority Gallo, Mazara, Profar, Brinson would be heading their way, and that's just the start.

Fair response for sure. And no, I'm not confused. Well, I'm not any more confused than I normally am, day-in-day-out anyway. ha ha

It's the first week of May, and as we know, so much can happen over the next 45+ days, it's a giant guessing game.

Profar is doing well, which is exactly what we wanted to see. Now, if those 45+ days goes by and he continues or even heats up, the phone may ring, could be out going too, and see what interest there is in him. Or, if EA keeps pace - he's playing really well right now - maybe we eat a some salary and bring up Profar.

It's all a spaghetti contest on 6 May, right?
