Skinsdad has a projection on the 53 in another thread that looks as good as any I could come up with.

Going to be fun to see how we use Cravens. I was reading one article that said Pot Roast averaged 20 snaps in 6 games. I'm guessing we wont go out and get a NT at this point, just rotate our DL guys and see what combination can be the most disruptive in the interior.

High hopes that Ioannidis & Daniels can contribute quickly.

Here is a look at the Redskins’ depth chart on offense after the draft. Undrafted free agents whose signings have been announced by the team are included.

Quarterback (3)

Starter: Kirk Cousins
Backups: Colt McCoy, Nate Sudfeld

The question here is if Sudfeld will end up on the 53-man roster or if he will end up on the practice squad. If he looks good in the preseason it will be risky to try to get him through waivers and onto the practice squad.

Tackle (4)

Starters: Trent Williams, Morgan Moses
Reserves: Ty Nsekhe, Takoby Cofield

Guard (5)

Starters: Spencer Long, Brandon Scherff
Reserves: Arie Kouandjio, Shawn Lauvao, Cody Booth

Center (3)

Starter: Kory Lichtensteiger
Reserves: Josh LeRibeus, Austin Reiter

After taking five offensive linemen in the two previous drafts the Redskins bypassed the position in this year’s draft. The two tackle spots and Scherff are set as starters. Left guard will be a competition between Long, Kouandjio, and, if healthy, Lauvao. The three listed at center plus Long all have a shot at starting with Lichtensteiger the nominal favorite.

Tight end (6)

Starter: Jordan Reed
Reserves: Vernon Davis, Niles Paul, Logan Paulsen, Derek Carrier, Marcel Jensen

Receiver (7)

Starters: Pierre Garçon, DeSean Jackson, Jamison Crowder (slot)
Reserves: Josh Doctson, Ryan Grant, Rashad Ross, Andre Roberts

If Davis still has something left in the tank and if Doctson can make an impact in the red zone this could be a pass catching group that will keep opposing defensive coordinators in their offices very late before playing the Redskins. Roberts is probably going to be released at some point before training camp but he is on the roster until that happens.

Running back (4)

Starter: Matt Jones
Reserves: Keith Marshall, Chris Thompson, Mack Brown

It remains to be seen if Marshall can be Jones’ tag team partner in the Redskins’ running back committee. It would not be surprising to see a veteran like Pierre Thomas brought in to help prop things up.

There currently are 33 players on offense; the Redskins will want to go into OTAs with about 43. They should bring in three or four offensive linemen, four or five receivers and three running backs as either undrafted free agents or veteran free agents.

Nine of the 11 starting positions are set (all but left guard and center).

Not sure I expect Ross will make the team. If Doctson adapts quickly DJax could move to slot. Little guy, cleaner releases.

I think 5 TEs max.

I don't think they will carry a total of 12 G/C combined. Two could go to the PS though.

When speaking to the media yesterday, Scot McCloughan was still unsure what meeting room Cravens would sit in. Apparently the situation has been clarified. This morning McCloughan said that Cravens will play strong safety in the Redskins’ base defense.

“I think he’ll come in as a strong safety,” McCloughan told Mike Florio on PFT Live. “We’ll put him in that room first.”

The fact that they will start him off at safety, however, does not mean that they will not take advantage of his versatility.

“As you’re well aware, he has the ability to play outside backer,” said McCloughan. “The thing we’re excited about . . . is pass rush ability. We see him, in base, probably being a strong safety, in sub, be an outside backer, even play him at inside linebacker in sub.”
