Don't really care if Sanchez takes the Oline to games, takes the WRs to SoCal, seen it for 6 years in NYJ. He's a genuine dude but in crunch time he's a turnover machine.

Has he fixed his on field problems? I need to see production on the field .
Did you miss the 2010 and 2011 AFC playoffs?

What I love most about this video is the fact that probably half the highlights were from 3rd down and obvious pass situations. They always say a QB makes their money on 3rd down so to see him go out and keep drives alive when teams are all out blitzing him or the windows are just a bit tighter to throw into gives me some hope.

I do agree with CEH that while all the things he is doing and saying are great we still have to see it on the field. Still from what we have seen so far he is at least showing he is taking this opportunity serious and is going to do whatever it takes to be successful. Sometimes in life it doesn't matter how much energy you put into something you are still going to fail. But at least he is giving this the best opportunity to succeed.

Maybe I should just start another thread and then combine the two so that I can change the title because I am with you in I keep thinking he has been cut which would be crazy talk.

Thats my main point. Can Kubiak coach him up? The 83 INTs and 51 fumbles still scare me until he shows that he no longer will make those boneheaded plays or costly INTs. For this team punting is not a bad thing.

Oh I agree. I said earlier that turnovers were really the offenses biggest issue last year. Yes the QB's were terrible at really driving down the field but to me the turnovers meant so much more. So Sanchez definitely has to cut down on this area.

Now I will say Kubiak's system has shown to help QB's in this area. Jake Plummer his last year in AZ he threw for 20 interceptions. In fact only one season in AZ that he played the 16 games did he actually throw for less than 20. Then he comes to Denver and his first year only throw 7 interceptions. In fact in his 4 eyars with Denver he only threw for 20 interceptions once and twice he threw for less than 10.

His fumble numbers also were cut down big time.

Joe Flacco threw the most touchdowns of his career the year that Kubiak was in town. He also had his best touchdown to interception ratio if I remember right or close to it. He also had one of his lowest fumbling rates of his career as well. So yes Kubiak did help to limit turnovers through the scheme.

Schaub is a tough one to judge as most of his work was with Kubiak and without Kubiak he hasn't started a full season.

You do that, I'll throw a brick through your window. Dang it, I'm proud of my 11 page Mark Sanchez thread with a confusing title.

Yes I see Sanchez be the ultimate game manager . If he can get to the playoffs sure but his regular seasons were very below average.

Keep it like it is - if you ask me - I'm beginning to appreciate Mark Sanchez more all the time.

Mark starts this year, plays well. Well enough for someone to pay him. We get a comp pick after he leaves us via free agency, and prepare for the next 4 years of Lynch on his rookie contract, after given a year to clean up his footwork, learn our offense, and quicken his release. Its a win-win

His playoff stats were actually pretty decent. And his regular season stats those years were better than Manning's were last season. I suspect a good portion of Sanchez's issues were coaching based. His playoff games show he is at least capable of performing under pressure. I see this situation being very similar to the Jake Plummer situation when he first became a Bronco.

Everyone seems to keep judging him like we brought him in as longtime starter. I love what Sanchez is doing. I am very comfortable that Lynch is learning what it takes to lead a team and be a pro.

I mean right now the team leaders are Ware and probably Sanchez, maybe Talib a bit too. I mean Miller is off dancing and self promoting, Ware is representing Denver, welcoming teammates doing all the little things. Sanchez is getting the offense together. Just so important to have these types of guys in house. Miller was on a bad road costing himself games, missing assignments and even getting pulled off the field. With Ware in house he made serious strides... I'm so happy to have Lynch learning from Sanchez... Even worst case he is terrible as a starter, you at least no he will prepare all week and do everything he's supposed to, Lynch will at the very least see, even prepared the game is hard and you'll need every edge you can get. Just my view

Fearless projection (because... So what if I'm wrong ... You gonna come find me?)

I know that'd be impressive on a number of fronts, but watching that YouTube vid... You know what stood out? Braylon freaking Edwards ... That might be best WR he has had.

Everyone?

By everyone I mean you DC. :suds::dhd:

You know what I mean though... In 2yrs if Lynch develops I suspect MOST everyone will wish to keep Sanchez as the vet backup... At least he doesn't come off like Bradford.

Sanchez: Lynch is a great talent but it won't change my focus

Good responses from Sanchez. Obviously he's learned the right things to say but you can tell he's grateful and is trying everything he can to show Denver he's still a good player. Maybe it works and maybe it doesn't but at least he gives everyone a little confidence.
