Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell ran unofficial forty times of 4.65 and 4.63 at his Pro Day.

The numbers are not unexpected, but they are disappointing for a player thought to be the best receiver in this year's class. At 6-foot-2, 221 pounds, Treadwell creates separation with his size, route-running and ball skills, so the athletic concerns are not a death knell. Still, it is tough to justify taking a receiver who runs in the 4.6s and posted a 33-inch vertical at the combine early in the first round. Treadwell remains a day-one pick, but he is unlikely to be taken in the top 10.

For all you guys who want a WR in the first and 2nd round, would you take Treadwell if he is there at #21?

Its not just about getting a WR in the first two rounds. We need some one thats going to be a difference maker and that we can build around going forward. That being said, even with his slower than expected 40 time, if Treadwell is there at 21 I would not consider this a bad pick.

What is Treadwell and Michael Thomas were there at #21? If that were the case, I think Scot would trade down.

Not my question Shark. I said would you take him? It looks like he is going to be there.

There isn't a better reciever in the draft. Treadwell has all the intangibles and skills.

Yep & remember Rice had issues with his 40 time. Beyond that it could have been a bad day or perhaps he can improve his time somewhat in the near future.

Latest NFL mock draft: What's new after the start of free agency?

2016 NFL mock draft: Trades shake up the 1st round

Hmm.. several of the latest mock drafts actually have him available at the Redskins pick or slightly beforehand so this is possible. BTW - notice that these & other mocks still have the Browns drafting a QB with their top pick in spite of the RG3 signing.

Well as many have said, we are talking about the Browns. That team isnt happy if they dont have at least 4 QBs on roster to screw up all at the same time.

The guy is fast enough to compete and has the football IQ to compensate so it would be foolish to pass on him for a 4.65.

Yep & perhaps we should look at this in a different manner. They have not had a good QB in ages. Why not perhaps take a shot at 2 or 3 of them just in the hope that one of them sticks. The only real risk would be getting one of them killed due to an inferior O-line (which very likely will happen in any case w/ RG3).

It is not as if the Browns are within a player or two of the SB so why not take 2-4 years to rebuild and if nothing else find your future QB first.

I dont disagree. I guess Im just of the mindset that Griffin the player is equal to or possibly better than either of the rookies who are being bandied around at the moment and the Browns might be better served using that #2 pick to actually shore up a multitude of other possibilities. LT, DL and CB come to mind. Or a trade down. They are 3-4 years away from a complete roster. Why risk taking a possible franchise QB and giving him the David Carr treatment when you have put yourself in a position to actually bring in a franchise player whos job is to actually do the hitting, instead of one you hope wont get beat to crap while you build the rest of the team.

Yep - you just wonder if perhaps RG3 and the rookie QB will find their way onto this jersey (with a line through their name)!

SoCal was right, Rice was a 4.6 40 guy. I didn't see many guys catch him on the field.

He ran about what was expected. He's not going to get faster. His skill set is he's a good blocker, great hands can go and get the ball, and good route running and smart. He won't stretch the field or run away from anyone. But, if my team needed a possession WR and he was there at 21 I would take him.

All the experts? Two experts? Who are the experts? What makes them an expert?
