@femurov, I was going to say the same. May not be quite as much but will be high IMO.With what Bradford and Osweiler got, Fitz will want to be paid about the same.

Sounds too much like Tebow for my tastes. Sounds like Dak's the better option.
Nope. I meant what I said. The scouting reports on Prescott tell a much better tale of QB smarts than Tebow ever had. But Paxton sounds just like Tebow with respect to reading defenses and memory retention.Don't you mean Dak sounds like Tebow? Same offense in college and ran the ball numerous times and usually ran after the first read wasn't open. Hell Dak wore the jersey #15 for Tebow.
I'm comparing the grey matter between the ears between Tebow and Lynch. According to the scouting reports I saw, they were VERY similar with respect to reading defenses and retaining information.Paxton can make every throw and does so with great accuracy but ran a spread offense.... hes nothing like Tebow..... prescott is more like Kaepernick than Tebow. Lynch just needs time to run a pro system, but his passing skill is the best in the draft imo... go look at the ole miss game... nailed almost every throw while Kelly just missed wide open wr after wide open wr. I recall very imstances where Lynch didnt make the throw under duress or not even against great talent like ole miss d, that Auburn bowl game being the exception. Jordan Lynch is more of a Tebow comparison.
Tebow kept having to be told over and over what to do by coaches. Fox especially mentioned this, and I think another coordinator did to from another team. Sounds like Lynch is the same? Not good.Yeah I have heard that teams were not impressed with him during the interview process at the combine. He was never really asked to read a defense. As much as I love the tape of Lynch we would be drafting him knowing he is at least a year away from being ready.
My guess is actually they would rather go after Prescott. Yes he played the spread offense in college that the NFL hates but they said from the end of the season to the Senior Bowl they said his footwork improvement and understanding of what a defense is doing and what he should be doing on a play was impressive. They also said his ability to memorize the playbook in a week at the Senior Bowl was the best of any of the QB's. Very different story compared to Tebow.

My preference of the two based on smarts is Prescott.

Can you cite your source for your Prescott info? Because the reports I read paint a completely different picture of a QB who can read defenses, and is comfortable reading through progressions. In other words, he is reported to have the head smarts Tebow missed the train on.
Doesn't say anything about reading defenses or other "in between the ears stuff" that sunk Tebow. It's mainly a physical characteristic comparison. Kinda lazy.

It's the same offense. It's a first read offense and if it's not there Dak will run just like Tebow. Ever hear of Dan Mullen? Just watch Dak's games. It isn't to hard to see they are the same player basically. He may have the better arm but when it comes to sticking around in the pocket, running with the ball and only making simple reads they are the same.
