Looking at the contract now. What a sucker deal on his end. Small signing bonus, small total guarantees, and it eats up his prime years.

Good thing he's fiscally responsible with his contract cash though.

Only spending his endorsement shekels?

Gotta pay for more Gronk cruises (and support however many mini-Gronks resulted from this past one)

The Patriots Way does seem to involve a lot of surgery. Given his injury history, can see why the guy wants to get paid A$AP.

The players know that the fastest way out of New England is to say anything about the organization.

Book it.

He will remain with the Patriots... He and Brady are probably the only two players that could get away with something like this.

Let's see if they reward the Gronk with tweaks to the deal.

But, If Gronk holds out, he's done as a Patriot.

Probably won't reward him but they won't cut him or anything like that

Hey at the time that was a great contract based on his production, now that he's surpassed that it seems like he's underpaid. If you're the best player at your position in the league and you see all these lower tier players getting a ton more than you you'd bet he'd be upset. It's why I never fault players from holding out or trying to get the most money they can.

I'm sure Pats fan are fine with what Gronk is being paid, that is until he starts playing like what he's being paid(not that Gronk would do that) then they would have a problem.

let's be honest Gronk at the time you signed the contract you were what one of the highest paid TE in the game? Also, you can cry about what the jaguars just spent on one player but would you rather play for them and win 1 or maybe 2 games or at least be in contention year in and year out?

Man what did the Broncos ever do to you?

They signed his mortal enemy Payton Manning, kept beating his hero Tom Brady and won a Super Bowl; thus solidifying Peyton as the GOAT.
