I don't care. I really don't.

Do what you want. Say what you want. Believe what you want.

I never once excused Mixon's actions.

I never once said he had to "break her face", injure her, knock her out, whatever etc.

I said if you physically attack someone, expect them to physically respond.

The kid sat out a year of football after breaking the girls face. I'm not saying she was innocent, but he shouldn't be suiting up for your team after that.

He received a deferred sentence and had to do counseling. I don't recall for certain but I believe he also had community service too. And the girl, who deserved to be charged, got nothing. So they both got off light. But you white knights like to ignore that. The kid's future shouldn't go down the drain because of one bad decision. He paid a fair price considering her lack of punishment.

Honestly not gonna read 9 pages of your posts. My issue is with the dipshit that unequivocally says that it's ok to crush a womans face if she lays a hand on you.

He did not say that. If that is what your reading comprehension tells you, please go give your high school diploma back.

You specifically called out women, saying it's ok to hit a woman if she hits you first. So a little girl slaps you and you have free run to open a can of whoop ass? Sure the woman should know better, but so should a man that is more powerful.

Now don't you have a neck beard to get back to growing?

That is not what he said. I don't know this poster at all, but I'm not going to sit here and watch you slander his posts and bully him into cow tailing out on this one. The issue is your reading comprehension, not what he said. You're wrong on this one. He's been saying the exact same thing as me.

She "got off" with a broken face. And if you want to petition a harder sentence for her...go for it. I don't give two shits about her. But just like I hold an adult that beats a kid responsible because they are larger and stronger, I hold him responsible for his actions in the fight. Due to the severity of the situation, I'd have cut his ass no matter how fast he can run. Just enabling the next thug that thinks he can do what he wants because he plays a sport.

Broken face or not, she deserved charges. That has jack shit to do with the fact that she broke the law. If I break into your house and you catch me and whip my ass, does that mean I deserve to avoid the breaking and entering charges just because I got my ass stomped? Fuck no. Same here. SHE BROKE THE LAW.

Post the link. The report and accounts I have heard and read say the following:

She and her friends were already in the store when Mixon and his friends walked in. They sat down. Some words were exchanged. It is unclear who said what or what was said as there is no audio. Anything that was reported to have been said was done so through statements collected by the investigator. The girl got up and confronted Mixon. She supposed called him a ni**er and pushed him. He feigned like he wanted hit her but held back, and she slapped him. He then hit her with a closed fist.

Those are the facts of what was seen on the video. I have said from the start if this is indeed how it happened both parties are responsible and both parties deserved charges. She did in fact initiate physical assault on not one count, but two.

As for the law that was passed, it was not a law but a ruling by an appeals court and nothing has been decided as a certainty at this point is my understanding. I still think we may never see this tape and frankly I don't have a problem with that.
I tried to copy the link over but it didn't work. It states pretty much what you said, with a few other things added in.
It seems pretty logical the confrontation was started by something Mixon or his group said. Wouldn't make any sense for a girl to confront him otherwise. The faking the punch part also probably had a lot to do with her not being charged.
That being said. Anyone saying his actions are understandable has issues. He is 8 inches taller and 80-90 lbs heavier and he is a "man" -- he could have walked away, he could have grabbed her wrists, he could have pushed her away.
After reading from someone on here he was sucker punched, I started to side with his actions. Reading more breakdowns of the video -- he will have to live with this long after OU. That will be the most expensive decision he ever made.

It is what he said, I just quoted it on the last page. "I dont' care if she is a woman or not".

You are taking one line completely out of context. You are 100% wrong.

Again, I have never excuses his actions. Understanding his actions and excusing them are not the same thing. I have said over and over he made multiple bad decisions to put himself in that position in the first place. Plus, what a shitty group of friends to let that happen around him and not intervene. Again, I am not the least bit convinced so many of you up on your high horse would've shown the restraint you're lynching him for not showing at his age and in his situation. My issue is and always has been that she initiated physical assault and was not charged also.

You are completely right where you say that she deserved to charged if she was the initial aggressor, but in a way you are "excusing his actions" when you say that a guy who broke a woman's face in four places doesn't deserve a conviction.

And KnightandDay is just being unequivocally wrong. It's not socially or legally "acceptable" to use disproportionate force in response. That's a crime. It is wrong. It is not normal.

Now you're just putting words into my mouth to fit your argument.

Refer back to the thing about "Apples & oranges/Adults & toddlers".

It is what he said, I just quoted it on the last page. "I dont' care if she is a woman or not".

Meaning she shouldnt get off easy because of her gender.

I never said he didn't deserve a conviction. He was charged and plead guilty. I deem he deserved to be charged, but so did she. Why is nobody outraged that she wasn't charged? If you're going to be outraged, at least be equal in your outrage. At least be impartial. It was poorly handled by the DA for reasons nobody is talking about publicly.

Seems to be normal for the police. Hell according to most of this board, Tamir Rice deserved to be shot and killed for playing with a toy gun.

Show me where I said he should "use disproportionate force" to respond.

You did when you made the sarcastic comment that she "got off with a broken face". That is immaterial to the fact that she broke the law and was not charged. Not only did she break the law, she initiated physical assault and was not charged. That has always been my sticking point with the Mixon lynch mob. None of you ever want to address this.

You are stating @KnightAndDay saying Mixon's actions are acceptable given the circumstances. He is not and has not said that.

She is not a victim. Period. End of discussion.

I don't give a shit if she's a woman or not, or what either person's capable of.

You verbally and physically assault someone, expect it in return.

Your quote, from the source. Don't care if she is a woman or not. If you assault someone, expect it in return. That's bullshit.

But keep fucking lying and claiming you didn't say it is ok to hit a woman because she hit you first.

I never said he didn't deserve a conviction. He was charged and plead guilty. I deem he deserved to be charged, but so did she.

He was given deferred sentencing, which is not a conviction. It means that if he stays out of trouble for a year and does 100 hours community service, and the State dismisses before sentencing. It's never a conviction, and it's not even what we call an SIS (a conviction for purposes of future crimes, but not for the public record). It is a pre-arranged dismissal provided he doesn't fuck up.
