I'm going to give a game ball to Peyton's running ability! He actually didn't look slow on his 12 yard run. Also like to point out that I somewhat called that play happening. Now given I said it would be a designed run play but considering Manning hadn't run all year for a positive gain I'm counting that one as a win.

No seriously I have to give it to Wade Phillips. The Patriots were saying afterwards that the Broncos did things that they had never seen on film. The entire season combined the Broncos had rushed 3 only 14 times. Yesterday they did it 14 times in 1 Game! They obviously saw something that let them think that would be successful and man was it. I mean this year alone the Patriots when Gronk and Edelman have both played the fewest points they have scored is 30. So the fact that we held them to 18 and honestly kept Edelman in check and Gronk until the 4th quarter I think just shows how great this defense really played. Also remember 4th quarter is when we lost both starting safeties so to me that is the only reason they even started being able to move the football.

I got a kick out of watching Brandon Marshall run step for step downfield with RB White of the Pats and defending the pass like a safety. Trevathan and Marshall can get beat by a RB - but not often - that is a big plus.

Oh just another stat to throw out there. Wade blitzed not only a season low but his lowest % since 2007 with only blitzing 17% of the time. Again just another showing of his genius in this game. The Patriots were hoping we would blitz so that Brady had easy windows to throw into. Didn't happen.

Completely agree. Total dominance On Miller's part

Dan Reeves used to say - big time players make big time plays in big games. Von Miller lived up to that on Sunday.

Brilliant. They got their all day rushing 3 or 4 and clogged up the short passes.

That they did. I have loved Wade Phillips' aggressive approach to defense all year long but loved it even more that he was willing to change just a bit to counter a great team. Some coaches are so stuck in their ways that even if they are getting blown out they won't change. We saw this with Del Rio where he played pretty much a preseason style prevent defense most of the year. This is one of those games where you see just how much coaching makes a difference in the outcome.

Wade's an excellent DC. Not a good head coach but the man can sure coach the hell out of a D.

Wade's an excellent DC. Not a good head coach but the man can sure coach the hell out of a D.

At his first press conference that is exactly what he said. His exact words were "I was a lousy head coach, but I am a pretty good defensive coordinator."

Honestly the coaching staff we have right now is just down right impressive. Kubiak has done a great job handling a very delicate situation with Manning being benched then put back in. He has handled some very big personalities on the team. We have our DL coach in Kollar who many of our front-7 credit with the seasons they are having. And then of course Wade.

Wade though has to be my favorite. His humor is just down right impressive. After the win yesterday he tweeted "Good year for me from unemployed to the Super Bowl!"

After our win against the Browns he tweeted "had some brownies yesterday. They were tough but satisfying in the end."

Just seems like a guy you want to get a beer with.

Von Miller was a monster. And like I said before, Wade Phillips was the signing of the offseason. So glad we got him. His players love him

I want to give one other game ball. A very overlooked unit for our team and that is the fans at the game. I mean the cameras were shaking and it really did look like the Pats OL had no clue half the time that the ball had even been snapped. I don't think we win that game without the home crowd being what they were.

Also sorry one more game ball. Pat Bowlen for being an owner who has cared so much about putting such an incredible product on the field for so many years. We have been about as spoiled as it gets for a fan base. I honestly teared up when his wife began her speech. More than for Manning or Ware this Super Bowl is about winning it for Bowlen. I am hoping he can maybe be healthy enough to go speak to the team over these next 2 weeks. I mean could you imagine listening to him Saturday night before the game?

A guy that is going a bit unnoticed is that of Chris Harris. From the sound of it during the week he couldn't even hardly lift his arm to brush his teeth. Yet he went out and played the most snaps of any corner for the 4 teams playing this past weekend and earned the highest PFF grade of any corner in the Championship Series. He held Edelman to mediocre numbers and really showed that heart of a champion that you have to have at this time of the year.

So the Carolina Panthers finished 15-1 and jumped out to a 31-0 lead against the Seahawks in the Divisional Round only to leave the door wide open and allow the Seahawks to make it a tidy 31-24 final score and respectable loss. Then they just completely dismantled the Cardinals tonight. 49-15 and more turnovers than a bakery. The Broncos will have their work cut out for them, but I have no doubt they are going to show a lot better than the debacle a couple years ago.

The cards were down 17-0 and got a score, three and out and PP fumbled trying to return a punt that killed all the momentum. Also, that game was in sub freezing weather and Arizona being a indoor team. They beat Philadelphia on the road but December was actually a little warm. However I don't know how this sb will turn out.

The road uniforms have won the last 11 superbowls.

I think that someone posted above about the difference between correlation and causation. Makes absolutely no sense to me how the color of the laundry affects the scoreboard.

Well in the NFL players and coaches both are some of the biggest superstitious people around. Heck I would bet that many of us on here have things that we do every game day that we think or probably more just hope actually helps the team. Such as for me my wife bought me a Peyton Manning shirt and well every time I have worn it on game day we have lost. So that shirt is buried in the back of my closet until the season is over. On the other hand every time but once this year when wearing my John Elway jersey we have won. So of course that is sitting out ready for the Super Bowl and my wife knows she is not allowed to wear it.

So for these players when they hear things like the team that has worn white has won 10 of the last 11 years while it shouldn't matter psychologically it could play a factor. Just like for the Panthers the last 2 times in the playoffs that they have worn their black they have lost. Maybe just changing up what Cam is looking for during the game could play a factor since they have worn white the last 2 games.

I have one I've been doing now for as long as I can remember. If Denver needs a big play, I run out side ( can't watch or hear ), cross my fingers in both hands, look to the West with eyes closed and concentrate on them making it happen. Nobody is surprised anymore when all of a sudden the 'Ol Man goes flying out the door 10 times a game. I know....weird.. but it has worked so many times, I can't stop.!
