Game Thread: Warriors @ Cavs 8 PM EST TNT

This game is like a really bad car wreck. I don't want to look, but can't seem to turn away.

Yeah, hca will be a big obstacle for the cavs. I still see both those series as essentially a push. It's definitely a hard night to defend that position but that's what I think.

Do you really think the warriors are that much better than last year or that Love/Kyrie would mean that little in a series?

Honestly I think the Warriors would be more motivated to beat Cleveland this year than they were last year.

Getting Love was a mistake that James is fully responsible for.

I wouldn't say getting Love was a mistake. Love has just regressed as a player. Who could've predicted that? He played better on a worse team. Seemed like he had Superstar potential, but he hasn't came close to expectations yet.

Love is a big stat, small game guy.
When I see him as a major contributor to wins in big games, in crunch time, I'll say I was wrong.
Until then, I have to be right, because he never has.

What's crazy is how close the Warriors were to trading Dray AND Klay for Love....and how many Warrior fans argued that was the right move. And to be fair it wasn't obvious how it would play out over the next 2 years. I'm super glad that trade didn't happen.

If you watched what Bosh had to sacrifice to fit in with James, then you would have known what Love was in store for.
Differences being Bosh accepted whatever he was asked to do, and is an above average defender.

I think the Warriors are so offended how everyone shitted on them for not beating Cleveland at full strength and saying Cleveland would have won had Kyrie/Love played that they came out here with the intentions are absolutely destroying them

The SPURS probably lead the league in the most 30-40 point losses over the last 10 years.
I think they make it an annual tradition to lose by half a hundred to Portland once a year like this...

Warriors aren't 40 points better.
If anything, if they do meet again, this could work in the Cavs favor if the Warriors enter the series too overconfident.

But, that's not the Warriors style.

I've followed Bosh's entire career. He's a better overall player and athlete. Love's numbers were just so eye opening. I thought he could be just as good as Bosh or better than he is. But obviously I was wrong. I didn't get to watch too much of him, so I guess it was wrong to judge off of numbers alone.

While I do agree with this somewhat, when a team leader comes out and says it's a statement game, and they play like shit, then there's more to it. This is a different situation.
