When you have less conference games and more games against FCS level teams than other conferences, the stats that particular chart is using is more than flawed.

With Oklahoma State losing big to Mississippi it is quite clear the SEC is at the forefront in football. The Big 12 is struggling. It is a cycle.

1. SEC 6-2 blew out Big 12, Big 12, B1G, B1G, ACC, AAC, lost to ACC and B1G
2. PAC 12 will move to 3rd if Penn State wins 6-2 in bowl games, but the two losses are to the B1G
3. B1G will move to 2nd if Penn State wins 5-4 in bowl games, wins over PAC 12, PAC 12, SEC, Notre Dame
4. ACC 2-5 in bowls against teams with winning records
5. Big 12 1-3 the three losses have been by 20 or more points

I'd rather Bama not play any FCS teams, but I don't make the schedule, nor do I influence it in any way.

It's interesting to see a team UNA barely lost to last season in OT make it to the FCS championship game though.


... even though we lost in the second round of the Division II playoffs, both this season and last.
