Did McCaffery actually break Sanders record?

Maybe to you guys, and you're right that it's irrelevant towards the record, but I look at the seasons as a whole, and I just really don't see how you can compare the two. What Barry did throughout his entire football is unparalleled by any other running back. McCaffery can have the record. That doesn't make him a better player.

Fig the seasons were both gauged as 11 games yes. Or had McCaffery surpassed sanders in 11 games yes. Otherwise its no different than saying you broke a 40 second track record by being given a 10 second head start

I really don't think you need to worry. I don't think McCaffrey is gonna win. I don't think there's any question he deserves consideration. I won't comment too much on Henry because I didn't watch bama enough to feel like I have a relevant opinion. The vibe seems to be he will win though...

It wouldn't surprise me either but that would be a problem. Not saying Watson doesn't deserve it as much as Henry and McCaffrey but this is supposed to be an outstanding player award. If the most outstanding player's team blew chunks and didn't win a game all season it shouldn't mean that the most outstanding player should be disregarded.

My opinion though is when you have 2 RBs who's numbers are so close, you go with the guy who does more than simply run the ball. McCaffrey played every position on offense that doesn't require you to be 6-5 and 300lbs.

I just find it odd that when McCaffrey face dNon Pac12 teams(Northwestern and Notre Dame) both held him under 100 yards. When Henry played Wisconsin he went for 147 and 3TDs
