Just poking you with the stick, BKS. Feeling exceptionally giggity lately.....that's why I spent a little extra time in the PF the last few days.

End of classes--- still have Finals- but went out and celebrated last night with some school friends.....not sorry i missed that game.

Chris Bosh is going into his 9th NBA season without LeBron james- everyone knows how Love never made the playoffs in the stacked West---- but Chris Bosh- in the East- never won a playoff series. He has 3 playoff wins to his name when he is not riding LeBrons jock.

Id take Love any day of the week - EASY- right now he is rebounding like the best power forward in the game- he is shooting like the best big man in the game- and playing great ball.

Now to the irrelevant comparing Love to Bosh. What I do know is that in games when Wade and James were out in Miami, Bosh stepped up to the plate and played like a #1...........Unlike Love who still plays like a role player when Lebron and Kyrie are out

Where exactly did the comparison between Bosh and Love come from? You sound VERY sour...

If you're going to miss a game, that was the one to miss and a great reason to miss it.

I know I wanted Love to go to the Lakers, but I honestly am beginning to think that, after Dwight, the Lakers may have dodged 2 bullets. He has Lebron and Kyrie out and doesn't step up? You can make all the claims you want about his rebounding and shooting. For the money he's making, he needs to step up and perform when Lebron and/or Kyrie are out. That's why he's being paid the money he is.

Trying to disparage Bosh won't change the fact that when Lebron was out in Miami, Bosh stepped up. When he's been out in Cleveland, Love has stepped down.

Honestly I don't think this was the plan on heading into this back to back. I just don't think Blatt thought Lebron will extend himself and play 45 minutes vs New Orleans....Getting in Miami at 5 AM probably didn't help either.

Doesn't matter. Lebron has been in the league long enough to know how to prepare himself. Plus, the schedule has been out for awhile. There are certain games he should never miss unless he is truly injured.

Could you imagine, if the Lakers were contenders, Kobe sitting out vs. teams like the Spurs, Celtics or Thunder?

Bosh was also regarded as the most important (not best) player in determining the success of the Heat Big 3, which ended up winning 2 rings in which he was a huge contributor.

Love did have a tougher road playing in the West, but so what, 8 teams make it and he never did (just like Kyrie in the weak East).

Bottom line is Love once again underachieved in a game where he had a chance to be a true leader.
There's a reason he gets pulled in 4th qtrs of other games also, a scenario which never would happen to Bosh.

Damn.
Wall did not look good there.
Not sure what happened??
Hate seeing anyone hurt, but it's good timing for the Heat.

Kobe's been resting on the 2nd game of back to back's for a few seasons but LeBron's already needing extra rest? I find this :pound:as fuck.

1-2 days ago people were saying that Blatt was making Lebron play too many minutes. Then 2 days later, he gets crap for resting.

Love did have a bad game and failed to step up as the best player on the floor. It was a great opportunity for him that he didn't cash in on.

It is just one game though...

When LeBron missed 8 straight games last season, Love played in 7 of them. In those 7 games he averaged 26 points and 12 boards. Now, the Cavs went 1 - 6 in those games.... but Mike Miller, Dellavedova, and Joe Harris were starters in those games. The mozgov/shump trade was in flux and the Cavs were short-handed several of those games.

So, in other words, big stats in losing efforts.
Pretty much like his career in Mn.

Until he produces big time, in big moments, he hasn't.
Will James really trust him if it comes down to that?

Hasn't really had many big-moment opportunites. I don't think anyone would count a regular season game against the Heat as a big moment.

The closest he's had was in the Bostons series. He had a huge game 3, hit some big time shots late in a close game. Hopefully this season he'll have a healthy playoffs and we'll be able to see how he performs in big moments.

100 times out of a 100, I take Bosh over Love.

The reason that the 2013 HEAT by my Spurs was Chris Bosh.

Bosh was able to keep Duncan from taking over.....and he was always finding a way to stop the parker/Ginobili lanes. The Heat do not win at all without him being the most overlooked part of that Finals series win.

Bosh is twice the freaking player of Kevin Love in his prime.

Bosh is arguably the single most under-rated post defender in the game.
Love is probably the worst defender at his position in the last 20 years.

Bosh is a good photographer according to Reggie Miller.

I remember literally SCREAMING during that series at my TV because Duncan and Splitter would NEVER go out on the perimeter to guard Bosh, and he nailed shot after shot straight in their face. So frustrating.

It was the defense of Bosh moreso than the offense in that first series.
Those era SPURS like to score a ton at the rim whether it was Duncan, Parker, or Ginobili.

Bosh was really good at protecting the rim...challenging shots.
He obviously was never going to shut down Timmy, Tony, or Manu completely....but he really made a diffrence IMO.

It was too evenly matched teams. The hustling defense by Bosh made that teeny tiny bit more to win for them.

The emergence of perimeter offense from slashing Kawahi Leonard and redhot Patty Mills proved too much in the rematch. But, in 2013....the SPURS needed to get more paint scoring to win which Bosh stopped quite a bit.
